Lion King Kiara's Pride

Chapter 2: The Runt Part I

Cavu and his sister Silver ran out of the den heading to the watering hole but before they almost headed down the rock they got grabbed by 2 kings.

"Where do you two think your going," Simba told the cubs "Yeah way are you guys up to." Kovu asked. "Well we were heading to the watering hole," "Yeah just drinking it and play it?" "Where's your brother Kapu" Kovu ask looking around. "He's right here Kovu with me." Said Kiara walking out of the den holding Kapu by his scruff. Placing Kapu by his father he looks up at him with a smile.

"Hey kido how's it going" "Nothing much Dad just playing with mother." Kapu said with a smirk, "Hey Cavu, Silver come here please" Kovu called to the cubs."I want you guys to take Kapu with you guys" "But Dad," "No buts take him or stay here." Kovu was right it wouldn't be fair to leave Kapu by himself so they took him along."Make sure your watching him!" "And don't get into any trouble or go to far!" Simba an Kovu called out to the three.

"We're almost there guys!" Cavu said "Nice I can't wait to cool down and rest!" Sliver joins in."Guys! Wait up! Wait for me guys."Kapu said trying to catch up."Keep up runt no time to lose!" Cavu said "Cavu stop that's enough he's our brother and it's not his fault he's a runt, come on Kapu we can walk." As they walking they made it to the watering hole. Looking into the water Kapu asked "How deep is it silver? Is there crocs in it?" "No crocs just shallow waters." Splash! "Come on in guys the waters fine!" said Cavu swimming around, "Come on Kapu!" Silver said jumping in the water. "Am okay guys I'll just lie on this rock and watch."

Watching his brother and sister swimming around in the water he than saw a beautiful flower far from where he was so he decided to go get it. "That will make mother very happy" he said to himself, so he climbed down from the rock and was off to find the flower to give to his mother. "I can't wait to bring mother the flower she'll be so proud of me, there it is but first." He looked around to if anything dangerous was near. He gets closer than sees something flickering and went to check it out.

When he got closer he stopped to get a better look looking throw the shards of grass in front of him was 4 hyenas tried to walk away quietly but he a twig and they turned around and saw him. "Kapu!" "Kapu!" "Hey Kapu there you are and oh no!?" "Look what the cat dragged in Max lion cubs 3 of them." "Hahahaha! Yeah a better lunch for us haha! Tooth go something to say." "Let's have a cub salad for a side." The hyenas were toying with them.

"Well we have to go and we're not on the menu so" Cavu said pushing siblings so get a move on. "Growls roof your not going anywhere." "Growls we're just getting started." "Run!!" Yelled Silver grabbing Kapu.

As the cubs ran the hyenas were right behind them. "Growls! Roof! Roof! Growls!" "Ahhahhaa!" Yelled the cubs, soon they at a die end. "No we're stuck" said Cavu "And the hyenas are right there!" Silver and Cavu couldn't do anything but try to protect there brother. "You can't escape us now kitties." Said J the hyena "Growls roof! roof snap snap growls!" They hyenas were going to devour them then something happened.

"Roar! Growl roar! Growls roar stay away from them you mutts!" A lion said he was standing in front of the cubs protecting them. "Come on guys we can take him growls roof roof growls!" Roar growls roar snarls growls roar! "Its okay Kapu its alright" Silver told her brother. "Yeah get em! Claw their eyes out!" Cavu yelling watching the lion attacking the hyenas "yelps yelps!" The lion saved their lives then he turned around.

"What were you three thinking messing with the hyenas you've could gotten yourselves killed but luckily I was around to help." "Thank mister lion for your help." Cavu said. "Yeah thanks but we got to get going." Said Silver, "What about you come with us what if the hyenas come back." Kapu told the lion, "Your little brother is right we can all go back to the pridelands together, what's your names?" "My name is Cavu the older brother." "I'm Sliver the oldest sister." "And I am Kapu the almost younger cub he's just older than me by a 30 mins." The cuds said hopping around the place.

"Well my name is King Seth of the Kent-pride and..." "Daddy!" "Dad where are!" "Dad come out where ever you are!" "Yeah come out!" Yelled four different voices. "Sweetheart you shouldn't tease your cuds like that, Icey, Dexter, Tear, Mel he's over here kids." "Dad!!!!" The cuds called to their father. "Hello my little cubs." Seth said with a smile. "Who are they father loners," "Of course not Dexter they are pridelands see that large rock pointing to the sky, that is pride rock where they live and we are going to take them back home." "Okay we better get going!" So the lions got a move on towards priderock so that the cubs can be with their pride.
