Runaway

A new friend

Goodbye my sweet loving sister.
Goodbye me evil brother.
Goodbye my beautiful dog.
Goodbye mother and father.
If you loved me I wouldn't do this.
But I have never truly felt loved in this family. The only thing that loves me more than itself is my dog.
That I have to leave behind with my family. We will probably never see each other again. You will be in my thoughts, but not in my heart.

I open up my window and climb out.
It's a surprisingly warm night for November 4th.
I start walking away, but to who knows where.
I don't know where I'm going but all I want to do is leave.
Go somewhere new.
See new things.
Live like a hobo.
I don't know, I just want a change in my life. My boring life.
I, alyssa Conzet, vow to never come back to this house again.
I just don't see the need of coming back here. I want to leave all the good and bad memories at this house and start off somewhere new.
I was so deep into thought that when I looked around I had no idea where I was. How could I have possibly walked so far. It's 10pm and I left at 7pm.
Wow time flies I guess.
I walked a few more blocks before I found a park and laid down on the bench. I slowly drifted to sleep.

I woke up the next morning to a lady staring at me with wide eyes.
"What?" I asked.
"Uh-uhh nothing"
I must've caught her off guard.
She probably thought I was dead hahaha.
"What are you doing out here?"
She asked.
"I-I uh"
Should I tell her I'm a run-away?
What if she calls the cops or something?
"Well?" She said.
"Um.... I ran away from home."
Shit I hope she doesn't freak out.
"Oh, hey it's okay. I know exactly how you feel" she says.
"You do?" I ask.
"Yes, when I was about your age I ran away too." She says.
She looks to be about 55 years old.
"What's your name?" She asks.
"Um Alyssa"
"Well 'um Alyssa' it's nice to meet you" she says holding out her hand.
I grab her hand and shake it.
"I'm serenity" she says to me.
"Nice to meet you too" I say.
"Would you like a place to stay?" She asks.
"I mean are you sure?" I say.
"Yes I'm sure." She says sweetly.
"Yes I would love to stay with you"
I say.
"I mean at least until I find out where I wanna go." I say.
"If that's okay?" I ask.
"Yes that's fine" she says.
"Oh thank you so much" I say.
As we walk to her house I start to remember all the good times I had with my sister, and how much I loved my dog. I will surely miss them lots, but that's not what should be on my mind right now. I need to try and figure out where I'm going to go after this and what I want to do with the rest of my life.
"Here we are" serenity says.
I look up from the ground and see a huge White House.
"Oh my your house is lovely" I say.
"Thank you darling, come on let's go and get you settled in." She says.
We walk in the house and you won't believe what I just saw.....
