Weird

Once we walked in my mouth dropped.
Serenitys house was amazing!
She had a huge Crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling and a ton of paintings on the walls.
She must've noticed that I was wide eyed because she snapped her fingers in front of my face.
"Okay alyssa your room is up stairs two doors down to the left. You got it?"
She asks.
"Yah I got it"
I walked up the stairs and went into the room that was 2 doors down on the left
I opened the door and walked in.
This room is huge.
It's three times the size of mine at my old house. I can get used to this. 😍
I run and jump into the bed and just start laughing. This was a good decision I just know it.
"Alyssa" I hear from downstairs.
" I got some food down here if you'd like some" serenity says.
I run down the stairs like a little kid and fly into the kitchen.
"Woah woah woah slow down little girl" I hear an unfamiliar voice say.
I spin around to see a guy in his late fifties or early sixties.
"This is bill" I hear serenity say from behind me.
"Hi bill, I'm alyssa" I say while holding out my hand.
He takes it and kisses it.
"Nice to meet you" bill says.
"Nice to meet you too" I say.
"Thank you for letting me stay here"
I say.
"No problem dear" they both say at the same time.
"Our granddaughter is coming over tomorrow for the day, she is about your age, and may I say you guys could be twins." Serenity says.
"Really?" I ask.
"Yes she is very pretty just like you"
Bill says.
"Thank you" I say to bill.
I sit down at the table and start to eat the sand which that serenity made me.
When I heard a knock on the door.
"I'll get it" bill says.
He opens the door and when I see who it is I immediately hit the floor.
"Hi we are looking for a missing girl."
I hear the police man say.
"She's about 5'3" and has light brown hair and green eyes, we are out here going door to door to try to find any information on her disappearance."
The police man says.
"No I'm sorry we haven't seen her"
Bill says.
"Okay, well here is a picture of Alyssa
If you see her please dial 911 .
Thank you, have a good rest of your evening" he says.
"You too" Bill says back.
"Thank you for covering for me" I say.
"No problem" he says.
"Well I'm really tired I think I'm going to go to bed, see you tomorrow" Bill says.
"See yah" I say.
I walk up the stairs and into my room.
I jump into my bed and slowly fall asleep.
------------------the next morning-------
I wake up to the smell of eggs.
Mmmmmm.
I walk down the stairs and see a girl sitting at the table.
That must be their granddaughter
"Hi" I say while sitting down at the table.
"Hi, uh who are you?" She says.
"Well uhh-"
"She is just staying with us for a few days while her parents our out of town"
Bill says.
Bill is so good at making stuff up on the spot.
"Yah what he said" I say while smiling.
"So what's your name" she says.
"I'm Alyssa" I say.
"How about you?" I ask.
"I'm Alice" she says.
Once I started looking at her more all I could see was myself looking back.
"You look like me" we both say at the same time.
"That was weird" I say a little creeped out.
"Yah lol" she says.
"So how old are you" I ask.
"I'm 14"
"Same"
"When's your birthday?" She asks.
"April 22nd"
"No way! Me too!" She says.
"This is getting weird"
"Yah it is" she says.
Our conversation was interrupted by serenity putting plates full of food down on the table.
"Thanks"
We say in unison.
We ate all of our food in silence.
But not an awkward silence a comfortable silence.
