I went inside and went straight to my room, where Cross waited for me on my bed. "Um, I know you've seen me naked but my dad doesn't know that so get out for a second." He just looked at me and shook his head. I didn't feel like using magic or fighting so I took off the dress and changed into a tank top and some shorts. I sat cross-legged in the bed, wondering had he been here since I left for my 'lesson'. "Mercer...I saw him and you." I looked at him, trying to figure out what he was talking about til it hit me. "Cross!" I hopped up and went next to him, hugging him. I looked him and the eyes and he slid away from me, just a little. Ouch. That didn't hurt. I hid the hurt and continued with what I was saying. "I don't feel that way about creepy vo-I mean Tristan. The dude is TWENTY! What the HELL am I going to do with a twenty year-old guy?!" I raised my voice, not able to hide the pain. Archer remained unfazed by this, stone-cold look on his face. "So if that's the case, why he kiss you?" "Like the hell am I suppose to know?! All he told me that I'm going to need more than how to hold a spoon if I'm going to save myself." Cross arched his eyebrow. and repeated, "Save yourself? From what?" I layed down on my side, suddenly too tired to keep this talk going. "That's what I want to know. I'm going to ask tomorrow at my 'lesson'." I sat back up and pointed to my door. "You can leave since you want to be rude." My door flew open and layed back down away from Archer. I heard him leave and let the silent tears fall. Can't believed he would think something like that cause of what Tristan did. I wiped away the tears and kept thinking: 'stay strong, this is only one of many random passing storms in life.' Next morning , I did my daily girl thing and headed to the dining hall. Everyone was already there, eating and chatting with each other except Archer. Wasn't much of a big talker. I grabbed and made my plate and sat away from Archer and sat in between Jenna and Tristan. "Hey, can I talk to you after this?" Jenna put down her blood bag and nodded, "Yeah, but why? Is it serious?" I eyed Archer and then back to Jenna. "Maybe, and Tristan" I said, turning to him now, who was already looking at me. "We also need to talk so what time does the 'lesson' start?" He smiled, ate a piece of bacon and said " We are in the library today and it starts at 9:30. Don't be late or else." He said all of this went the world's most nicest yet threating smile. I nodded awkwardly and started to eat. I didn't bother to even talk or look at Archer after eyeing him for Jenna. I decided not to acknowledge him in anyway til he apolozies or something. That shit last night was just rude and offensive to me. "So Sophie...how are things going?" My dad asked me. I kept eating as I responded to him and his possible many questions, depending on how I answered. "Um fine I guess. Tired of getting attack by Tristan but besides that, everything's ok." Dad simply nodded and smiled at me then at Tristan. "Great." Afterwards, I met up with Jenna in her room. She was on her bed when I sat down on her bed. "So, what's wrong Sophie?" I briefly explained, in full, of what had happen last night. "Oh. Archer can't be mad at you cause of that! That's Tristan's fault!" I nodded in agreement. "That's okay though. Two can play that game. I'm not worried about it." Jenna shook her head and changed the subject, catching me up on her romance. Soon, I went to the library, ready to cuss out Tristan not caring if it's not 'lady-like'. "Ah. Glad you decided to join us." I opened my mouth to cuss at him but I caught hin saying 'Us'. "Us? Who else is with us?"

*N/A Note: Sorry it takes me so long to write this. Hopefully, this chapter isn't short. I can't tell.*
