"Us? Who else is with us?" I asked. Tristan pointed to a chair where someone was reading a spell book. He stood up and bowed to me.
"Pleasure to finally meet you, Sophie."
I looked at him, taking in his looks. Dark hair, mystic green eyes, and really...grey skin? It went with his looks anyways but something tells me he doesn't see the sun very much.
"Who are you and why are you here?" I asked him, not trying to be polite in any fashion. He chuckled and looked at Tristan saying "Wow Tristan. You haven't told her about your dear younger brother? I'm a little hurt." They shared a laugh while I stared at him. His YOUNGER brother??
"Look, I need to beat his ass now so can you tell me your name and go?" I said, becoming impatient with the both of them.
"Fisty, aren't we? I'm Christian." He looked at his brother and Tristan said aloud, "Oh yeah. Total keeper." They laughed again and Christian left. I punched Tristan in his jaw the second Christian left the library.
"That's for kissing me last night, you ass!" I whispered-yelled at him. He chuckled, grabbing a spell book that I've never seen before.
"Oh Sophie...you do not understand fully why I did that but in time, you will thank me for doing so." He popped his jaw back into place and handed me the book.
"Read this book to page 100 then come back to me at...I say 10:30 Sophie. Dismissed." He winked at me then was gone, leaving me alone in the library.
I huffed and starting reading this giant paper-weight of a spellbook. Getting bored half-way through, I put the book down to just walk around. I had enough time.
"Pssh! Sophie!" a voice whispered to me. I look around to see a grey person in my room doorway. Christian. I sigh and push through him, going towards the garden. "So now I'm getting the cold shoulder? That's not nice ya know."
I ignore him, continuing to the garden. He came up beside me, still trying to talk to me.
"Come on Sophie! More cold shoulder? My brother must be mad to deal with you. No insults included." He disappeared from beside me, showing up in front of me. I jumped back not wanting to run into him and walked around him, eventually getting to the garden.
"Sophie..."Tristan's soft voice spoke out from behind me. "Please, don't turn me away before even giving me a chance. I've seen it...I've seen us."
I turn to face him, his grey skin, no longer grey but a normal color. His mystic green eyes sad with something dark, and his face serious. "You've seen us? As in together?" I question him. He sighs and sits down, gesturing for me to sit next to him. I raise a eyebrow at him but take the seat anyways.
"Sophia, I have seen us together before you even met Archer. You're some special to me and can do more for you than that ex-eye. Please, just let me into your heart."
I was surprise he knew all of that, I hadn't told anyone of that except my dad and I doubt he even knows that he's here. I mouth hung open for a minute before asking, "So you're saying we are meant to be together?"
"Yes Sophia. That's exactly what I'm saying. I believe that...I think that you're my future wife."
*Trying to start and finish strong. Sorry if it's short cause I write mostly from my phone so yep. Also started working on chapter 6 so yep. :)*
