His FUTURE WIFE?! I sat back in the library waiting on Christian to show up. Processing all the information, I couldn't help but wonder what he had seen to make him think that.

"Sophie? Earth to Sophie!" A voice called out to me, bring me out of my thoughts. Christian. I blinked a few times and waved him away. "Ok, lets get to the lesson."

Christian smirked and sat in a chair, crossing one leg over the other. "So what have you learned today, Sophie?"

"Um...well I learn a few spells out of that book that I may need to use one day--"

"No, not that. I meant from early today. What did he tell you?" How did he know? Wait, Tristan could have told him but then again when I left for my 'lesson' (These can't be real lesson), he was still sitting there.

"He's my bother. Of course I can tell when he's upset and also the secret is out?"

I nodded my head and looked away from him then back at him. "What does he mean I'm his 'future wife'? I plan to-" I stopped, considering where I standing with Cross, I wasn't too sure of a future there yet. Or ever.

Tristan smiled and took my hand and kissed it lightly. "I'm sure he didn't mean his actual wife, Sophie. He meant that you two will get so close that you feel like his wife."

I took my hand back, not conviced one bit by any of this. "Remember what you said that night?"

Tristan's eyebrow raised quizally as he didn't know what I meant.

"Don't play stupid. I'm not in the mood. You said 'They're coming Sophie and learning how to hold a fucking spoon the right way isn't going to save you.' YOU said that!"

He smirked and stood up, walking around for a bit.

"We not gonna say you're suppose to be with him,me,Mr.Cross or none of us. We don't know what the future has in store for us." Christian sat down from across me.

"You do know that a formal event is being thrown for you to see how far you've come right?" he asks. I just look at him.

"Um, obviously no. When is it?"

"In three weeks so we have to brush up on your formal skills so be prepared. This will reflect you and me." He stood up and gestures for me to stand up.

"I suggest you make up with Archer or go to event with me." He smiled at the end but I knew it wasn't 'teacher-to-student' smiles you see in the movies. It was a flirty one.

After that I left, heading back to my room.

On the way I ran into my dad;bumping into his making him drop some papers.

I apologized and helped pick up the papers from the ground. I tried to moving on but he grabbed my arm, stopping me.

"Sophie, can we talk for a moment?"

"Sure."

We finish picking up the papers and to his office.

Once we got in there, I sat in front his desk in chair on the left and he took his pick in the only chair behind the desk.

"Well I'm sure Christian told you about the event Sophie."

I nodded, letting him know that I know about this. Only if he knew the rest of this, he be putting Christian out by now.
