I open my eyes to the extremely loud snores of Mat. His room is like three doors down and yet i can still hear him. I checked the clock to see it was a Saturday morning. Well i guess you can call 13:40 pm morning. I stood up and went to his bedroom. I opened it and threw a pillow at him.
"Eh?" He asks opening his hazel eyes.
"Wake up!" I stood there leaning at the door.
"It's still early" He covers himself with the blanket.
"I know but you have to cook or i'll have to go and call delivery and have that creepy man stare at me again" I pouted.
"In a while" He says still under the blanket. I sat beside him hugging a pillow.
"But i'm hungry" I pulled the blanket off to reveal a half naked Mat wearing only his batman boxers.
"Okay okay" He stood up and went down to the kitchen and started cooking some food. I opened his laptop , basically my laptop , he broke his last week and decided to take my laptop instead.
He was still logged in on Facebook and i immediately searched his inbox. He was chatting with his male friends about girls and football. At school we are quite famous , since i was at the volley ball team and Mat was the quarterback.
And most of the girls were secretly crushing on Mat.. I smelled carbonara and cheese from downstairs. Mat is a great cook unlike me. We are opposites. He has the motherly feeling of a housewife and i am kinda like the lazy father. I know ridiculous. His room is neat and clean whereas my room looks like a stable.
"Foods ready" He yells from the kitchen.
"Coming" I shut his laptop down. Correction My laptop.
"Looks delicious" I smile.
"It has to be since i made it" He nods.
I jus lick my lips and started eating. He was sitting at the couch changing tv channels.
"Where's mom?" He asked me turning around.
"No idea" I shrug while my mouth was filled with food. He just chuckled at me.
The front door opened and George came in. George is our biological father but we grew up without him , he left our mom when we were 3 years old and came back begging for forgiveness two years ago.
"Hey guys" He removed his coat and shoes.
"Yo" Mat says staring at the TV screen.
I just smiled at him revealing my teeth filled with sauce. He just laughed at me.
After finishing my meal i went and changed. I stare at the mirror looking at my features. My long straight brown hair till my waist and my long fringe that almost covered my eyes were what most girls were envious off. My grey eyes were really weird looking , in a good way. Mats hair is always perfectly styled no matter the situation. I wore some high waisted shorts and a crop corset top.
I ran downstairs and put on my black vans and grabbed my car keys. George gave me a mini cooper for me 16th b-day , that was when i started liking him more. Yes , i do accept bribes. Don't tell me you don't!
"Where are you going like that?" He asks acting like a mother.
"Zia's house" I say picking hats from Mat's room. I took a red one with an Obey on it.
"When will you be back?" He asks arranging his bed.
"Chillax mom , i'll be back in a few hours" I pat his shoulders and left.
I made it to Zia's house in no time.
"Jim has a crush on you" She says while we were walking along the hallway.
"Like always , the latest gossip" I shook my head.
"Hey Kat" Zia's older sister greet me.
"Hey Shilla" I smiled at her.
We all sat down at the living room and watched a movie. We always watch movies on Saturdays with Zia's siblings , she has a younger brother who is two years younger who loves disturbing us.
This time we watched Warm Bodies with Nicholas Hoult. It was really nice. After watching the movie i had to go to my work. Well i tutor two kids in 7th grade and the pay is really good and its only every Saturday so not much hassle. I taught them some English and math.
After finishing everything up it was already 7 pm. I returned home and finshed my homework. After everything was done Mat took off somehwere. I grabbed a spoon and started digging the cookies from the ice cream. My life seems rather ordinarty and boring.
I know that. I went on instagram and started chatting with random strangers through kik messenger. I had many friends on kik but some were just some perverted jerks. I go up to my room and changed into my zebra pajama pants and super Mario t-shirt. I know it's so attractive.
Anyways , i close my eyes and drifted to sleep. It wasnt long thoigh before i was awaken by my phone.
"Hello?" I answered half alseep under the sheets.
"Wassup Kat" Henry , it had to be , Mat's best buddy.
"Nothin much" i said trying to sound as awake as possible.
"Well , your brother got wasted and neother of us can drive and we've got no money right now so..." He trailed.
"So .... No" I hang up.
Like hell i was going to pick up my drunken twin brother at 4am. Ill take him later morning or have him go home alone.
Soon , i received another phone call from Kim. Weird , is she with them.
"Hey " She says obviouslu drunk.
"Don't hey me , calling in the middle of my beauty sleep" I complain.
"Yeah , so can you tell Howard to come and pick me , not that i need it but these two guys want to ride along" She screams over the loud music.
Well , i have no choice do i , my brother and my close friend are both wasted so i just gotta go. I stood up and changed into a pair of torn shorts and crop top and my blue vans. I grabbed my car keys and passed by the drugstore and bought medicine for them to sober up.
I drove infront of the club and called Howard , Kim's cousin.
"I'll be there in 10'"
"You better be , i'm not going inside alone" I complain over the phone.
In ten minutes Howard arrives.
"Let's go" He pats my shoulder as i exited my car.
"Jeez , my life sucks"
