As a Muslim girl, I have to cover most parts of the body. Some even ask me : Why do Muslim women cover their bodies(hijab)?

my answer: wear hijab. hijab means its an Islamic practice of dressing modestly in clothing that covers most part of the body (except the face and the palms).

Whether you are a Muslim or non-muslim, covering yourself is not a sign of degradation or oppression. Nor it discriminate woman. Rather, covering yourself is a sign of purity and dignity. It highlites a woman as pure, chaste woman and sets her apart from the immoral behaviour associated with woman who dress immodestly.

When a woman wears hijab, she is less likely to be harassed. She is less likely to be exploited for her beauty and feminity.
