Chapter 12

Previously on 'Harry's Secret Sister':

"Don't start with the tears. You'll make me start crying, my mascara's not waterproof like yours." I said and we both laughed.

We just hugged each other and silently cried. We are truly sisters at heart. Sisters that are going to be separated. God I love this girl so much. I'm going to miss her the most.

I woke up and just couldn't get out of bed. I was way to tired.

I got up and went to the chair where I had laid out my two outfits. I picked up the one on top and got changed.

I sat down at my vanity and started to apply concealer to the bags under my eyes. Then a little powder. Mascara, and finally just a little lipstick. Not much but who cares?

Okay, I don't need my gym bag. I need a lunch, brush my teeth, put my hair up, anything else?

I counted the things I need to do out on my fingers.

I walked downstairs and sat down at the breakfast bar while Mum was making pancakes.

She got out three plates put two pancakes on each. While she handed me my plate Natalia sat down next to me.

"So today's your last full day, huh?" She asked sounding real upset about this. Oh I feel so bad.

"Yeah, it is." I said looking down at my pancakes and starting to cut them up. Nat saw I was trying to avoid this conversation so she dropped it.

"What did Daniel say?" Mum asked.

"He asked about communication, but I guess that's expected. He's not the happiest, I mean I don't want to leave him and my friends but I want to be with Harry." I told her and got up to put my dish in the dishwasher.

"Does this mean that he's going to be here talking to Nat, like all the time about you?" She asked sounding annoyed. She never really liked Daniel, not that she disliked him, but didn't think he was a good kid I guess.

"I don't know, why would he come here? He can call me when he's at his own house." I said snapping slightly.

I started to put a couple slices of turkey in a sandwich bag for lunch. Yes just turkey.

I added some crackers to my bag. I looked in the fridge for a water bottle. I found one in the very back and put it my lunch. I grabbed the lunchbox, closed it, and put it in my backpack.

"Bye Mum!" I hollered out as I grabbed my bag and headed for the door.

"Bye Julie, see you later honey!" She called back and I left leaving the door open for Natalia.

I walked to the bus stop and Nat arrived a couple minutes later.

"So did you finish packing?" Natalia asked me.

"Well, as much as I can, most of my clothes, hair things, stuff I don't use often is packed up." I told her.

"That's good, you have a head start. Knowing me I would probably wait until last minute and procrastinate." She said laughing.

I know she doesn't like this. But she understands that he's my brother and I miss him. She knew this would happen eventually. I hate seeing her hide her feelings for me. She thinks she's doing a good job, but I'm her best friend and I know what's up.

The bus pulled up in front of us and we climbed up the stairs. I sat down across the isle from her.

"Nat, why are you doing this to yourself? Your bottling up your feelings. I hate it so much when you do that. Tell me what you think of all this." I told her keeping my voice low so no one would listen in our conversation.

"Okay, I don't like that your moving. Okay? I don't. Can't stand it. But it was going to happen. It's ether now or later in March." She said with a shrug.

"Thank you for telling me the truth, you know you don't have to hide anything from me? When I leave I want daily updates on what's up, how your feeling, if it was a good or bad day. Alright?" I asked trying to make it sound like a good idea.

"Alright. But, what if something happens that I have to hide from you?" She asked.

"Well I would hope you would tell me." I told her and the bus arrived at school.

We stepped off and went into the cafeteria to meet up with our other friends.

I spotted Daniel from across the room and tried to make my way to him.

When I found him, he had a girl pushed up against the janitors closet door making out with her.

I quickly walked away and out to find one of the bathrooms.

I to the bathroom and locked myself in a stall and cried.

'I love you'

'I miss you baby'

'Come here'

'I need to tell you a secret'

All the sweet things he'd said to me played over in my mind. He's probably said them to her a million more times.

I heard someone walk into the bathroom.

"Julie?" Natalia called out and I stayed quiet.

"Julie, I can see your shoes. Why are you in here?" She asked confused.

"I- I sa-aw D-Daniel kiss-ing a girl." I finally chocked out through the door.

"C'mere." She said and I oped the door as she pulled me into hug.

"Does he know you saw him." She asked.

"N-no." I told her trying not to cry.
