Faith woke up to Kat calling her. She opened her eyes to find Kat at the end of the bed."Time to get ready for school sweetie",Kat said cheerfully and then left. Sitting up Faith rubbed her eyes. She pushed the heavy covers off her and reached for her crutches.
She quickly got a shower. She put on jeggings that fit over her cast,a oversized gray sweater, a beanie,and her grey ugg boot on her good foot. She grabed her purse and crutches and headed downstairs.She smelled pancakes from the stairway and it smelled delicious. When she reached the kitchen Kat was placing a plate of choclate chip pancakes on the tabe."Hi,are you excited for the first day at your school"?Kat asked as Faith sat down. It meant that she wouldn't run in to Trevor.Faith nodded as she took a bite of her pancake. She was glad the she had found a family that was happy and caring,she thought it might never find it. She finished her pancakes and her and Kat headed to the car and drove off to her new school.
~half hour later~
"Hi Faith,Im the principal Mrs.Dran". "Its nice to meet you"Faith replied."So I have arranged for a boy to show you around and help you carry your books.You'll leave class five minutes early,so you dont get run over in the halls",Mrs.Dran said.
Faith nodded."Blake",Mrs Dran called.A tall ,golden blonde haired with baby blue eyes, boy walked in. They locked eyes for a few seconds and then Faith looked over at Mrs.Dran."This is the new student I was telling you about.Show her around,when your finished come back her to getnher schedule,"Mrs.Dran said as they left the office."Hi,its nice to meet you"Blake said once they where out of the office. "Its nice to meet you too",Faith replied. They came upon a door that read"room 34"."This is the science lab,your homeroom and first period",Blake said as they stood in front of the door. Faith nodded. They walked through the halls the rest of the morning.
