Megan

It's been a week and I still haven't showered. Now I have to because I have to go to the store, because I am out of food. I'm out of tissues also. I hate take out so I never get it. After my shower I slip on some black leggings, and a long sleeve black shirt added with a blue scarf. Time to face to great outdoors that I haven't seen in a week. I wonder what the weather is like outside?

Once at the store I grab a basket for my things I plan to get.
•frozen pizzas
•little Debbie cakes
•sour cream chips
•paper plates
You know healthy stuff.

As I walk down the Isles to get the things I need, I see couple holding hands and kissing. I mean they are even pushing to buggy down the isle together. It makes me sick. I hate happy people, it's annoying. It's like everyone is happy and I'm suffering.

"Megan?" Ask a soft voice. I turn and see the girl from Lucky's. What was her name again?

"It's Sadie, I'm the girl that had a drink all over her head," she says and gives me a small laugh. That's was her name! Elijah and her would be perfect together, have you seen the way he looks at her. That's the way Stephan used to look at me.

"Hey," I say back and look back toward the chips. I want something new. Like sour cream and cheddar. Yum. After crying so much, I have conjured up a big appetite.

"I noticed you haven't been in my psychology class this pass week," she says with concerned eyes. We have that class together? I guess I just had my tongue down Stephan's throat to notice. Now that I think about it, Elijah has that class to but he doesn't sit near us. I think he sits in the back.

"I broke up with my boyfriend, so I really just didn't feel like coming to class or even school. Your actually the first person I've talked to in a week," I tell her. Her face falls. Why did I just tell her that? I don't even know her. Maybe I just needed to say that I broke up with Stephan.

"I'm sorry to hear that," she says. Her medium length blonde hair falls over her eyes and she looks down. It's like she knows what I'm going through.

"Are you seeing Elijah? I saw him pull you out of Sin the other night?"

"No. We aren't even friends. He just wanted to warn me about something or someone." Decker. I know it was. I hate that mother fucker.

"But anyway you look like a girl who needs some girl time. I was going to cook some pasta back at my place, do you wanna join me?" She asks.

" I love pasta," I say and look down at my basket. Wow. I am so pathetic.

"Then let's go. I need to get some garlic bread," she says hooking arms with me and walking towards the bakery.

Sadie's apartment she shares with Leah is really simple. White walls. A tan leather couch in the middle of the living room. Flat screen tv hanging on the wall. No pictures. A few DVDs on a shelf beside the tv. It was like no one lived here. Very plain.

"Sorry the place isn't fancy or anything Leah and I aren't very sentimental, we like things simple. We are always out so there is really no point in making the place nice when we mostly just sleep here," Sadie says chopping little pieces of Chicken. She puts the chicken into the pan with the noodles and then she pours cheese sauce all over it. I can smell the garlic bread cooking on the over when she opens the oven door and checks on it.

"I like simple," I say. I walk over to the small table by the window that out looks the campus. The campus really is beautiful at night. It looks like New York City minus all the noise. It's really quiet here. It's peaceful when psychos aren't trying to make your life a living hell.

"What would you like to drink? I have water and...that's it. Sorry I thought I had something else," she gives me a guilty smile.

"Water sounds good," I say and look back out the window.

"I think this is the first time I have cooked in this apartment, I usually always get takeout," she says handing me a glass of water.

"Now that's sad," I say.

"I'm really not social. I don't have any friends and Leah is never here so I have no need to cook."

"Why do you not have friends?" I ask her.

"Because of who my father is."

"The football player? What about him?"

"Every friend I have had they have just wanted to be near my father because he is a legend," she says. Her eyes are angry but her face is calm.

"People are idiots," I tell her. She laughs and brings the food to the table. It looks amazing, my mouth is watering.

"Yeah they are."

"Thanks for dinner," I tells her as I clean the dishes. She didn't want me to but I did them anyway.

"Anytime. This was fun," she says. I dry my hands on a towel.

"It was and thanks for letting me vent," I say. I totally cried like four times. I used a whole box of tissues. I just let it out about how I am a terrible person and that Stephan was going to move on and that I was going to be alone forever. She just let me cry and she gave me words of wisdom. She is such a great person.

"Anytime."

"I better go. I have to get to a weeks worth of homework," I say and walk towards the door.

"Let me know if you need help," she says coming towards the door as well.

"I will, thanks. Oh and I love the roses," I say.

"Thanks," she says before closing her door.
