Gavin's POV

Ah Freshman year. Its so great to finally be in high school. I've been waiting for 3 years to finally get out of that hell hole they call "middle school." I'm ready to start my journey towards college and make a living for myself. But for now, I'll just enjoy my teenage years with my friends and family. Waking up on the first day I was so prepared for school. I was ready to see the new teachers I would have and make new friends as well as catch up with old ones. The only thing I didn't expect was him. I didn't know we would be in class together but that wouldn't stop me from learning about what it takes to pass the class with flying colors. Who? Oh I'm sorry. His name, is Josh, and I don't have any possible explanation to why but I do know that I had had dreams about him over the summer. I wasn't sure why because I had never had any emotional feelings towards him for as long as I've known him. The dreams died down after a while but I was still a little afraid that something bad was gonna happen. We hadn't talked after I told his ex girlfriend he was bisexual. It was a shitty thing to do, I know that now. But I was obnoxious and started drama sometimes without actually knowing. Anyways, it was during first period and I couldn't pay attention to what our teacher was saying because I was staring at him the whole lecture. He was just so intriguing. He had skin that glowed, short and curly, light blonde hair, he was skinny and probably very toned from playing football. Oh my God. What am I saying?! No stop Gavin, pull yourself together. I managed to pull myself away from him and continue on with class. When the bell, or wired beep thing, went off, I headed towards my second class. As I was walking there I noticed he was going the same way. Was he seriously in the same classes as me? This would make freshman year so difficult but I had to learn to deal with it. As time went on I was overjoyed to know that I only had two out of seven classes with him. This year wouldn't be all bad. Maybe we can actually become friends or was he still mad at me? Whatever the case, I was determined to make this freshman year great.
