Jane's pov
I'm half asleep when I heard someone's footstep it front of my room.
Holy! It's past midnight!!
Who the hell is this guy? Did he plan to kill me? Rape me? I'm very nervous. I'm alone in this very big house!!
My room door cracked, made a loud sound----signaling he's here in my room!! I stretch out my hand to get my knife and gun for emergency like this. But----- but where is that gun? I only left it here! I began to panic but maintain to be asleep. I know it's dangerous but for now, that's all I can do.
Slowly but surely, he steps beside my bed until he can reach me, not waking me up in my sleep. Suddenly I felt something cold---he was pressing at my forehead. Then it sparks when a light hit it.
Shocks, it's a knife!!! Does he paid to get rid of me? Who is the master mind of this? I don't want to die young, for god's sake!!!
"I know your awake, young lady. Don't pretend as if your asleep when you are not!" my invader said.
I shiver.
What should I do? Do I need to just pretend and wait until he killed me?
Before I can decide whether to wake up and stole his pistol or just pretend, he buried his knife at my forehead and blood comes out of it.
"You better wake up now, young lady." Then I saw by the dim light, he smiled.
"Aaaahhh", I shouted as I hold the knife and pursue to get it from this stranger. But he's very strong and I realized I can't do anything about it....
I gasped aloud then push my body halfway up. Sweat all over my face and neck. My comfortable pink nighties were now full of sweat. I barely breathe because I feel like I came from running.
Calm down, jane. You're over acting!
I'm not!!!! That nightmare sucks and you knew it! I---I think it's true that someone killed me!!!But you were alive and still breathing. Come on, get back to sleep.But I can't.

"Hey, Jane why are you here?" Xsher, my boss asked me. Maybe wondering why, I am so early. It's only 7 a.m. and 8 is the start of arrival of my office mates.
"Sir do you forgot it's office day?" I replied while putting down my luggage at my desk.
"It's Sunday, Jane. It's not working days."
"But---but I remember it's Monday today."
"You forgot it, baby." He said while smirking.
I smiled at my thought: I picture out, me and Xsher together. Holding hands, eating together, his hands on my shoulder and caressing it until he kissed me.
Will you shut up dreaming? You and Xsher will only be at your dreams!
Let me dream of a reality, will you?
"Are you listening?"
"Pardon, sir?"
"See? Your mind wasn't even here." Then he chuckles.
"Sorry sir." I said as I looked down the floor.
"No, it's okay. As I said earlier, will you accompany me at my out-of-town meeting?"
"Now sir?"
"Yes, if you agree. I'll add it to your salary."
"Okay sir."
I work at this very big company----computer company to be exact---as junior accountant. My work starts---encoding of entries at journal, here at my personal computer---every 10 am although I always arrived here at our office by 8 a.m.
At first, I don't know where to go---where is that office of mine. But it turned out my office was inside of the CEO's office. Our desks are parallel to each other and I'm not his personal secretary.
This building has 8 floors located at the center of this City----Cabanatuan City. Traffic prone area.
My boss stands up and spoke. "I'll go get my suitcase next room and I'll wait for you outside my car."
"Sir, I'm ready. We can go now."
***31I'm shocked! The business meeting, he said is buying our ancient house. How dare my aunt and Cousin are!!!
But I'm not ready yet to face them. To slap them in their face and to get revenge.......
