~"N-no.."
............

"It's not you.."

"You're seriously not pulling that 'it's not you, it's me' crap are you?...."

The face of a teenage boy with curls of autumn and eyes of the sea appears into view.

With a frightening set of eyes aching to cry

He tightens his fists
And starts to give in to the ache of tears.

"I-I... I never WANTED this."

He tightly closes his eyes and tears uncontrollably ease their way out of his ocean blue eyes.

A girl with hair as black as a cloudless midnight sky, and forest green eyes, appears into vision.
With a worried and restrained look on her beautiful pale face.

"What do you mean..
You.. we're best friends.
I need you.
And you need me,
you can't just walk away like nobody cares about you!!"

The boy looks up
"It's not like I-"

"It's not like what, A.J?!
Not like you MEANT for people to care about you?!?!
WELL SORRY..
YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH IT.
JOAN CARES ABOUT YOU, HOLLA CARES ABOUT YOU..."

Tears roll down her ghostly face

"I care about you.."

The two bodies stand there awkwardly
Until a door bursts open and~

I see a intimidating dark blue and scattered stars

The sounds of chirping vibrate through the air

I passed out ..
On the forest floor.

I rub my head and run my fingers through my curly hair.
Trying to remember the bits and pieces of my dream

I think to myself of what that .. emotional vision, was, and who those people were.

My train of thought slowly leaves as I feel a breeze whiplash my entire body.

I yelp and scramble for my sweater and thick coat

Finally having the garments in my grasp
I put them on as quickly as I can

Receiving some warmth

But more self assurance than of anything.

I think of earlier, and I slowly start to remember why I was here, alone in the first place.

~

The grey car slowly came to a stop
Obeying a stop sign's command.

A view of 3 people in the car come into view
A woman in the passenger seat to the left
And a man driving, to the right.

And a small child buckled into the back seats.

"I think... Right now, is a good time." The beautiful woman states, as she puts her hand on the driver's shoulder.

"Right now, Jen?
A-Are you sure? I wouldn't want to-"

"No, no. This is perfect timing, sweety." The woman, Jen, states.

Jen turns to the small child buckled in the back.

She smiles

"Hi mommy!!" the boy excitedly waves

Jen softly laughs and speaks with a voice of silk
"Hello there my wittle baby!!"

She reaches out and attempts to tickle the tummy of her toddler

"NOOOOOooOUHHH MOMMMMMnoooOOO IM iM GONNA PEEEE!!!" the boy desperately shouts

"Mmhmhm." The beautiful mom giggles

She looks at her boy deep in his eyes, and turns her head

"How would you feel about having a brother... A little brother?"

The boy squints in confusion, "Whh.. what's a brother?.."
he desperately asks

The man behind the wheel responds with a deep voice

"It's like another you, but a lot younger."

The boy clenches his hair
"OHH NO!!"

"Oh no indeed." The mom jokingly states.

Then

Everything goes black

Blurry vision starts clearing

A bright stinging yellow tones the sky,
A screaming endures, the calling, repeating of an agonizing name is all that is heard.

The cries of a man echo throughout this slow invasion.

I feel my body being lifted, a man, my father is blurry in my vision.

He shakes me violently, everything is grey.

I faintly hear,
"gGO! gO !!! YO U - YOU KNOW WHERE TO GO!!"

He rubs my face, the feeling of focus returning mildly.

"S-sSon , I'm. I'M gonna HELP YOYOUR MOTHER,.. RUN TO THE UNDERGOUND BUNKER.
I- W-WE'LL MEET YOU THERE."

He stares deep into my eyes
With fear starved into his hard hazel eyes.
He's crying.. I've.. never seen my father cry.

He kisses my forhead, and hugs me into a deathly hug
"be careful..son..my love."

As soon as his touch leaves, I panic,
I run.

My legs race their own pace, lazily dragging my top half.

Then..

Poof...

Trees light up, and burst behind me, shadowing a disgusting black into the sky.

A force of loud air pushes me forward, ....

I lay on the forest floor.
I lift my head and turn to the horror.
Orange and yellow highlight my face, feeling nothing but heat.

Crackling trees, pouring sobs, and deafening screams fill the air like music.
