Chapter 6

Sunday morning

Isabel's POV

I wake suddenly. I sit up and realise that it is because of the sunlight coming over my blinds. I check my phone and see that it is just before eight. I quietly get out of bed so I don't walk Lissa up. I grab clothes some clothes, head to the bathroom, put them on and head back to my room. I grab Rosie Black Chronicles Equinox which is the second book in the series, my phone and headphones and head downstairs closing the door quietly behind me. I walk down the stairs and go into the living room where is curl on a couch and start reading the book. When I am onto the 6th chapter I look at my phone and see that it is 8:30. I here noises of people walking around upstairs so I put my book on the table, after I marked the page that I was up to, next to my headphones and pick up my phone and head to the kitchen to make breakfast. I decide to make pikelets.

Just as I have finished making a tripled batch of the batter and setting the electric frypan up the group appear in the kitchen. 'Morning guys' I say 'Morning Izzy' they reply. Christian asks me 'What are you making sis?' 'I am making pikelets for breakfast. On that note can you grab the butter out of the fridge please Chris?' He grabs it out of the fridge 'Thanks Chris' 'No problem sis'. 'Can you please go into the living room or find something to do because it is distracting if you are just sitting in the kitchen while I am cooking the pikelets. When the first lot are done I will tell you so you can come and eat them.' I get several 'Okay's' from the group as they leave the kitchen. I put my phone on the bench and put my music on random because I don't know what I want to listen to.

Time skip - after first lot of pikelets are cooked.

I put the plate with the first lot of pikelets on it in the centre of the table. I grab the golden syrup, honey, butter and several types of jams and put them on the table as well. I grab 14 plates out and put them on the table in a stack. I also grab a heap of knives and put them on the table. I head out to the living room where the group are just sitting and talking. I look around and see that Viktoria, Sonya, Karolina, Olena and Ivan had joined them. I clear my throat and all of them turn to look at me. 'The first batch of pikelets is done and sitting on the table in the kitchen.' I then head back into the kitchen, turn my music off, turn the electric fry pan back on, put butter in it and wait for it to heat.

Time skip to that night

It is 10 pm. Lissa, Rose, Sydney, Mia, Adrian and Eddie left a few minutes ago. We spent most of the day watching the other 4 Harry Potter movies. We only stopped to eat lunch and dinner. Sadly we have school tomorrow so after I saw goodnight to the Belikov's and Christian and they good night to me I grab my headphones, phone and book and head up to my room. After I change into my pyjamas I close my door, turn the light off and get into bed. I play some songs on my phone until I start to fall asleep. I then stop my music, put my phone on my bed side table, pull the covers up and drift off to sleep.
