*Cam’s POV*
We spent a couple hours at the mall though I didn’t buy very much considering I had just been shopping the other day. I ended up just getting some more makeup, nail polish, and tanning oil since I forgot mine at home. I was really hungry considering it was almost lunch. We decided to just go to McDonalds for some food and then head to the beach. I got a double bacon cheeseburger with fries and a chocolate shake. When I ordered my food everyone looked at me like I was crazy even the lady taking the order.
“What? I’m a little hungry.” I said trying to defend myself.
“A little? I would be full for an entire day if I ate all that!” exclaimed Abby. I just gave her a look.
“Well duh you would be full! You hardly eat anything. I would die of starvation if I ate the amount of food you eat!” I told her. She just giggled in agreement. I went and sat down and started to eat. I was halfway done with my food by the time the rest of the group sat down.
“Holy crap! You’re almost done with your food!” Exclaimed Jc. I sheepishly smiled.
“I told you, I was hungry!” I said in my defense.
“Well obviously! Did you even taste that half of your burger?” Asked Trevor.
“I did and it was delicious!” I told them. The rest of our meal was spent in silence, but not an awkward silence it was comfortable. I was done before anyone, obviously. So I just sat there and stared at the guys until they got uncomfortable and I looked away. I had already stared at everyone except Connor, and he took forever to notice. Everyone at our table had noticed what I was doing and had busted out into a fit of giggles. When Connor noticed everyone giggling he was really confused. He leaned over to talk to me.
“Hey what is everyone-“and that was when he looked at me. He screamed. And no not a manly scream a full on 5 year old girl scream, not a quiet one either might I add. It made everyone in McDonalds stop and look at our table where we were all laughing hysterically. When we finally settled down we decided to leave since we were getting dirty looks from everyone in place. Right before we walked out of the door I felt the need for my sass that I’ve been holding in for a long time to come out.
“Hey! Don’t be lookin at me and my friends like we have problems! Oh hell no! Don’t be jelly just cause we know how to have fun and you don’t! Cameron out! PEACE!” I yelled while snapping my fingers then walking out.
“Dang. I forgot you had all that sass in you.” Abby said.
“Hey don’t hate! Haha just kidding I know it’s been weird keeping all that sass bottled up but get ready cause the sass is back!” I yelled while running towards the van. Everyone just laughed at me and piled into the van and we were off to the beach. It only took about 10 minutes to get to the beach and I was so excited! I kept shaking my legs but I couldn’t help it I was so excited to get in the ocean and get my tan on! When we stopped at the beach I was the first one out of the van even though I was in the middle of people I climbed over the top of them. I made a mad dash towards the water.
“Wait!” someone shouted. “You need to help with all of the stuff!” I came to a screeching halt which caused me to slip and fall on the sand. I immediately got up and ran back to the van. They were taking so long to get everything out and I was getting very impatient.
“Hurry up hurry up hurry up! You guys are taking forever!” I yelled at them. I pushed them out of the way, grabbed a bunch of random stuff and ran back towards the beach to find a spot. There weren’t a lot of people there which was very rare that I came here and it wasn’t packed. I found an awesome spot close to the water and dumped everything on the sand. I found my towel and laid it out; I grabbed my tanning oil and started applying it to my body. Everyone else was slowly coming over and laying their stuff out to.
“So nice of you to join me!” I yelled at them. They all just laughed. Abby and I decided to tan for a while before we got into the water. The boys were goofing off in the water while we lay on our towels.
“So do you like Connor?” Abby asked suddenly.
“Umm possibly. I don’t know! I mean I think so but he acts like he likes me but then he acts like he wants nothing to do with me! I’m so confused!” I told her.
“Do you want me to talk to him?
“No defiantly not! Well maybe, just not now.”
“Okay fine! Come on lets go get in the water I think we’ve tanned enough for now!” she yelled. We ran towards the water and tackled the boys. For the rest of the day we just laughed and splashed in the water. Today was perfect.
