Cato and I pull away immediately, both of our faces red. Cato's face is red because he's angry at the person and mine is red because I'm a little bit embarrassed about what just happened. I can't even look at Glimmer because she was sleeping in Cato's arms before. Which gives me mixed emotions about Cato.
"What do you want, Glimmer?" Cato snaps at her.
"Don't pretend like I didn't see that," she says. "And how stupid do you think I am? I know that the two of you are going to run off and I'm not letting that happen."
Then a tracker jacker nest comes down on us and screams of pain fill the air. I get stung a few times.
Cato and I take off, taking a few things with us. We find a cave that's underground and climb into the cave. Once we climb in, I fall to the ground and everything goes black.
Prim runs through the woods, looking very scared. It looks like she's in an arena, why is she in the arena? I'm in the arena, not her! She trips on a rock, falls on her back and looks at who's approaching her. The Careers.
Cato smirks at her, holding a knife in his right hand. He plunges a knife into Prim's stomach and I hear a canon.
I wake up screaming. I look around for Cato, but he's not there. I see on the ground, someone wrote something in the dirt:
There can only be one Victor. I hope that I don't have to kill you.
