Chap2

Boring lecture, again.

"The essay is due the 5th of December. It's worth..." Lecturer went on and
'Bla bla bla' Taehyung thought.

"This presentation needs to be presented by team of 1 boy and 1 girl" the lecturer continued.

'Wait' V thought for himself. Girl and boy? Just by thinking of it, someone popped in his head and he smirked. It's his time to tease that shy girl. Of course she will be too shy to say no.

Lecture was done. V was leaning by the wall waiting for this one girl to tease. 'There she is' he thought and started to approach her.

"Give me your phone" he said

Irene was just looking baffled at him with the girls behind Irene.
Irene handed him her phone.

"How I'm I supposed to know your password? Huh?" He said with a 'are u joking' face. Irene unlocked it and handed it over.

"You are doing the presentation with me. Text me after lunch" V said cooly and left.

Irene was just blank while her friends had their mouth open. What did just happen?

After lunch:

"So call him, quick!" Wendy said with excitement.

Irene was still baffled. She didn't like this. She knew something was off.

"I feel a bit weird about this" Tiffany joined in the conversation.

"I know. Me too" Irene said

Someone phone was vibrating on the table, it was Irene's. It was him.

His name registered as: "your crush"

When joy saw that she started laugh out loudly. The others joined right after.

"Wow he know about it all" Wendy said in shock and continued laughing. Irene was still having a hard time understanding so she kept on thinking, and something hit her. She thought 'I know what you are up to'.

"Well she is obvious sometimes" Wendy pointed out about him being her crush.

Since she missed the first call, she managed to pick up the second one.

"What?!" Irene answered with a cold tone

"Is that how you reply to your crush-?" V said on the other side of the line, because she took him by surprise with her way of answering the call. His face showed sign of confusion.

"Who said in doing this project with you? No one. This is not funny. I know, you know that I have a crush on you, but I know your game. You better stop it now. Don't dare to bother me otherwise, I will show you what a shy girl can do. Bye" Irene said in one go.

Her friends eyes were popping out on her confidence. For once Irene removed that shy mask, 'how did it even happen', was all her friends were thinking about.

"Let's go" Irene said and got up confidently and walked away.

Taehyung's POV

'Huh what??!' 'What happened?' 'How?'

He let out a deep breath and realised maybe playing games with her is not that easy. He was thinking about making her fall for him harder than she was.

"Hey mate, what's wrong?" Jimin asked V.

"Hey your face looks weird. Are you confused about something?" Jin asked.

"Uhh..oo... No" V said and went away. The boys look at him then at each other.

"I'm home" V said as he entered his house. He threw his bag on the floor to untie his shoes.

He went to his room and turned his Laptop on. While waitin for it for it to start, he just started to think about Irene for no reason. Thinking about her words: 'Don't dare to bother me otherwise I will how what a shy girl can do.'

'Aishh'. He thought

His head was too messed up so he picked up his phone to text her.

V: "Hey you! Why did you change all of an sudden? You are doing the project with me! No, no's accepted" V texted to Irene

I: I'm not doing it. Are you stupid or something?

V: no you are the weird one being a bipolar

I: just leave me alone.

V: I don't want to

I: are u interested in me?

V: HAHAHHAHA funny joke mate. U are the one staring at me 24/7

I: I won't reply any more.

V: come on, I know you like this lol

V: hey how would you not like this, I'm your crush, I'm sure you like it

V: yahh reply me

'Aishhh he thought again'

Next morning

The day felt long for V. He texted Irene a few times but she don't want to reply. And every time he sees her around, she gives him a death stare. (You go girl! That's how it should be!)

It's the last lecture. Just 3 minutes left to the end. As soon as they finished, V was making his way towards home. He lost hope, he is not bothered to tease her anymore. Who cares, she is that shy outcast girl anyways, well not outcast but that girl that all she does is study and be with her group of 4 friends. 'She isn't even popular, whereas me, V I'm the guy that is handsome and quite popular.' He thought as he patted his own shoulder.(LoL)

"Heyyy, annoying guy!"

V turned around seeing Irene.

"See me in the library at 4 tomorrow. Bye"

The atmosphere got quiet for a few seconds after that everyone started to make sound and say stuff "wooo" "did you hear that?" "Daebak!!!" another shouted.

V have no idea what's going on. Wasn't Irene the one asking to stop the game? 'I guess the game never stopped' he thought and smirked.
