Chapter 5

I woke up in the arms of the most amazing man in my life. I stare at Nate and admire him. His messy hair that's everywhere, his tattoos on his chest, his mouth slightly open. Everything about him was perfect. I decided to sneak out of bed to take a shower because Nate and I were driving to Sacramento to see my family and to see if we could find out anything on my sister. After my shower I change into a teal mesh crew neck sweater and black leggings. Instead if wearing contacts I wore my black glasses because my eyes were irritated from crying so much. I put my hair in a messy bun. While I'm cleaning the bathroom and wraps his arms around my waist. I turn around and embrace him. I looks down at me and says "I didn't know you had glasses." I hid my face, I hate when I wear glasses. He lifts my face and whispers in "Don't hide your face, your too beautiful for that." I roll my eyes and kiss his check. "Keep trying Maloley." I walked in the bedroom and made the bed and packed my bag. I put my book, earbuds, wallet, phone charger, and extra clothes. When I get done Nate walks out of the bathroom he's wearing a red flannel and black jeans. He looked so hot, I didn't realize I was staring till he walked over to me and said "Staring is rude." We laugh and walk downstairs and got our bags ready. Once we got on the freeway, I plugged my phone to the aux cord and started playing Colors by Halsey. Surprisingly Nate new all of the words and we sang our hearts out. About an two hours into the trip I started to get tired and Nate noticed. "Take a nap baby. We are 2 hours away." I nod and lean my head against the window and fall into a deep sleep. Nate wakes me up when we are 10 minuets from my mom's house. When we pull up to my moms house I run to the door and knock on it. My mom opens the door with pure joy. She hugs me and sees Nate behind me. She smiles at him and said "You must be Nate." He smiles and hugs me. When we get into the house I pull Nate into my room. My old room is filled with 5 Seconds Of Summer posters. He laughs and hugs me from behind and kisses my jaw. I turn around and hug him. "I'm so lucky I have you" Nate looks down and kisses me. The kiss is filled with love and passion. My mom calles up the stairs that dinner is ready. For dinner we had steak with gravy During dinner we discuss Nate and his career. After dinner we all move to the living room and watch movies. While the second movie was playing Nate went to use the restroom. When Nate leaves the room my mom looks over at me and says "Your dad would have loved him" I begin to cry. My dad died in a car accident when I was 11. Ever since then my anxiety and depression have been terrible. When Nate gets back in he sees that I'm crying. "What's wrong baby"? I look up at him and smile "I love you and I know my dad would have loved you." He smiles at me and kisses my nose. After the second movie my mom went to bed and it was just Nate and me on the couch. We stare in each others eyes for a solid 5 minutes and he finally says "I love you too." Then he kisses me. The kiss last for 2 minuets before we go into my old bedroom. Nate went to the bathroom to change so I changed in my room. While I was putting on my shirt Nate comes in. I let out a squeal and Nate laughs. "NATE GET OUT" He laughs "I think I like this view better" I roll my eyes and finish getting dressed. We crawl into bed and begin to fall asleep. After 2 hours of me being asleep I hear my mom and the phone. I crawled out of Nate's grasp and stand in front of her room. I hear my mom is crying her eyes out. When she finishes her phone call so I deiced to go in. I walk over to her bed and my mom hugs me. "Your sister is gone, the police found all of the bodies dead." I cried and cried. My mom told me to get Nate and talk to him. I go into the room and I see Nate standing there confused. "They killed my sister." Nate hugs me as tight as he can and I cry harder. After standing there for 20 minutes I crawl into bed again and cry myself to sleep.
