Chapter 7

8 months later- Lydia POV

Nate had just gotten in from the studio. I was due any day now, and I was scared. A couple months back we went to the doctor and found out we were having a little girl. Nate crawled into bed and kissed my check. I cuddled into him and feel back asleep. I woke up to the sound of my alarm. I rolled over to find Nate fast asleep. I deiced to make Nate breakfast because he had been working so hard at the studio. I stand up and feel a wet substance run down my leg. I panic because my water had broke. I scream for Nate to wake up. When he dose he grabs a shirt puts it on and grabs our hospital bag. Once we get to the hospital they put me in a tiny white room. My contractions were two minutes apart. After being at hospital for two hours my mom comes in. I had called her on the way to the hospital. When she got in she hugged Nate and kissed my forehead. We talked about everything that has happened in the last 8 months. The doctor came in around 3:00pm and said that it was time to have the baby. I froze when he said that. Am I going to be a good enough mother? Nate came over and told me I was going to be an amazing mother. "When I count to three you are going to push,1,2,3 PUSH!" Then at 3:45 our beautiful baby girl was born. The doctor brought her in, she was wrapped in a pink blanket. She had my eyes, Nate's think hair, my nose, Nate's lips. She was perfect. She was beautiful. Soon Dillon, Sammy, Derek and both Jacks came in. They all came over and hugged Nate and I, then took turns hold our baby girl. Nate and I still hadn't came up with a name. I was thinking about names until one stuck with me. I look over at Nate and say "Arden Mae". He gets up and says "Arden Mae, I like that." All the guys took pictures and posted them on twitter. Sammy's said "My new niece is the cutest." Dillon's said " Watch Out boys... her uncle's are crazy." Derek's post said " Arden Mae is gorgeous, not like her dad." When the guys left Nate took Arden where I could sleep. About three hours later I look up and Nate is asleep with Arden in his arms. I take a picture and post it on Instagram. The caption says "Perfect Dad." Then Nate gets a phone call, he sits up and sends it straight to voicemail. "Who was it?" I ask. He replies with "Nobody important." I roll my eyes and begin to watch a new episode of Teen Wolf.

Two Days Later-

We are finally home. Arden is an amazing baby. Her sleeping schedule is not so amazing. Arden likes to sleep all day and cry all night. Nate's phone has been ringing all morning, but he refuses to answer. He gets a pissy attitude when I ask him whats wrong so I don't even ask anymore. While Arden was taking a nap, Nate and I cuddled together on the couch to watch American Horror Story. During an intense part his phone rings. He storms out of the room onto the back deck. I pause the show and deiced to start on dinner. He slams his phone on the counter causing it to crack. Nate says "my ex Alanna just called me and told me she still loved me". I look up slowly. " Do you still love her?" He replies by saying "I don't know."
