Sort of a reunion where Rose is president of Gallifrey as Bad Wolf. Don't even ask how I got the idea. Man, I'm really proud of this one!
"So, Donna. Where do you reckon we should go next?" The Doctor asked, jumping around the TARDIS in a crazy dance, flicking switches and pressing buttons.
"It doesn't really matter, Doctor. Wherever I suppose." Donna replied, watching him jump around the console.
Suddenly, the whole TARDIS shook, throwing both of them onto the ground.
"What's happening, Doctor?" Donna yelled as the TARDIS continued shaking uncontrollably.
"I don't know! She's never acted this way before!" He yelled, as he struggled to regain his footing again, only to stumble into one of the benches.
With a giant halt, as if a car at 150 mph had suddenly slammed the brakes, the TARDIS lurched, before settling still once more.
"What was that? Where are we, Doctor?" Donna asked, getting to her feet while clutching her head to keep it from spinning.
The Doctor lept to his feet and ran over to the control panel.
The TARDIS hummed happily, her lights flashing brightly.
A bunch of Gallifreyan writing popped up, none of it making sense to Donna, but the Doctor's face grew pale as he read through it.
"That's not possible...no no no..." He muttered, throwing open the TARDIS doors and dashing outside, his coattails flapping out behind him.
Donna ran out after him, nearly crashing into him when he halted right in front of the TARDIS.
"Doctor, where are we?" She asked, looking out at the orange sky that covered the vast orange landscape before them.
"Home." He whispered, not taking his eyes off a globe-like city in the distance that was too far away for Donna to see the details.
"Home? What do you mean?" Donna asked, confused.
"Gallifrey." The Doctor replied before bursting into a sprint towards the domed city in the far distance.
As they ran, Donna noticed the orchids of silver trees that they passed, glistening under the twin suns that glared down upon them.
After a long while of non-stop running and Donna trying to catch up to the Doctor as she began to fall behind, they finally approached the dome.
Up close, Donna now saw it was actually a city within the glass. A magnificent city that gleamed golden, towering above the barren landscape.
"What...is this place...Doctor?" Donna asked, panting.
"Arcadia. Gallifrey's second city." The Doctor said, an unreadable expression was glazed over his face. "I don't get it. It was one of the first to fall." He muttered, walking up to the gate as if in a trance.
All of a sudden, a group of guards came in front of the Doctor, skidding him to a halt.
"Who are you? State your name, species, and intention." One of them demanded.
"I'm the Doctor. This is Donna. I'm a Timelord. She's a human. We just came because my TARDIS crashed." The Doctor answered calmly.
"You're the Doctor?" One of the guards in the back asked, surprised.
"Um...Yes. Why? Speaking of which, what year is it anyways." He muttered the last part to himself.
"Follow us. The High Lord President wishes to see you." The one up front said, motioning for the Doctor and Donna to follow.
