The Awaken

A bloody situation.

I shut the door and the turned around,
I was so shocked I didn't know what to do.
Naked with a hand towel covering myself I yelled in shock
"Grayson! Cover your eyes!!!"
As soon as he saw I had no clothes on he turned and faced his back towards me and said "Alexa! You naked!! I'm so sorry"
"Its okay, just don't look I'm gonna grab a gown from the closet" I said while running to the closet.

I immediately put on the gown and walked to my dressing table.
"Okay, you can look now" I said with a laugh.
"Uhm, well this is awkward" he said as he sat down on the bed hitting his forehead.

I laughed, I took out a brush and started brushing my hair, "How did you even get in" I said with a surprised look.
"I jumped through the window, you didn't come to school so I got worried" he said while watching me brush my hair.

I got up and sat next to him on the bed and said
"That's so cute babe, but you could of used the front door"
He turned red in the face and said "Don't worry I never saw anything"
We both laughed as I punched his arm.
He then put his arm around my shoulder and kissed my cheek, "Babe, you should probably get dressed I don't want you to catch a cold" he said with his deep raspy voice.

He got up and walked to the window, "Grayson, you can use the front door" I said as if I was about to burst out with laughter.
"Right! The front door, yes." He said as he changed directions and walked out my room, I followed and walked with him downstairs.

Standing by the front door, Grayson leaned in and gave me another kiss.
"Bye babe" he said as he exited.
I closed the door and locked it.

I walked straight up stairs and back into my room.
I turned around and all of a sudden there was a potent stinge, as if it was the smell of death.
I looked down on the floor and saw a trail of blood. My heart stopped and the tears were trying to fights their way through

As soon as I built up the courage, I decided to follow this mysterious trail of blood moving from my bedroom door into the walk in closet.

Every step I took, the stronger the smell was. It was as if I could feel the fear was trembling before me.

I opened the closet door were the smell was coming from, laying on the floor covered in blood, I couldn't make it out clearly and see who it was.

I moved closer and saw, it was Tate.
He was laying on the floor of my closet, unconscious.

I rubbed my eyes, then opened it think it might of just been a dream. It wasn't.

Speechless and heartbroken to see my brother laying covered in blood on the floor. I grabbed my phone, and called the ambulance.

After I made the phone call I ran down stairs to Mr and Mrs Lockwood's bedroom and pushed the emergency button located next to their bed.

I ran back up to my room, to see Tate's body was gone. It just vanished. I had thousands of emotions running through my mind and I couldn't express one emotion.

The body was gone but there was a trail of blood leading out the window.
That clearly meant one thing. His body was dragged out by the window.
I ran over to the window and saw the trail of blood leading on the sidewalk into a car. I then ran downstairs as fast as I could.

I pulled the front door open, and ran towards the car. Just before I got close enough to see who it was in the car, the car started and drove off.

I tried to run after the car, but it was to fast. Standing in my bath robe in the middle of the road.
Grayson opened his front door and saw me standing in the road in tears.

I turned to Grayson standing by his front door with tears running down my face. He ran towards me.
With a concerned look on his face he clasped my arms saying
"Alexa! What's wrong. " continuously.

I looked up at Grayson, and said nothing.
He picked me up, and walked towards his porch.
He put me down on the steps and sat next to me. He put his arm around me so I'd feel protected. I leaned my head on his chest, with my eyes blood red I eventually stopped crying. I sat in silence listening to Grayson's heart beating, he rested his head on mine and we sat in silence.

I raised my head and looked at him deep in his eyes, "Tate's dead" I said. When I uttered those words I could feel my eyes starting to water.

Grayson was speechless, he looked at me I could see his eyes started to water.
Grayson then said"Let's get you inside."
Just when he said those words the police pulled up.
