Sorry for the LATE update! School was ending soon, so it was REALLY hectic. Also, my mom blocked Wattpad on the computer. Like I can’t go on Wattpad on this computer. I have to use the desktop that is sooooooo slow, but it’s better than nothing! BTW, Happy Summer to all!

My alarm blared at 6:00 in the morning, breaking the peaceful silence of my room. I groaned from underneath the covers and covered my head with my pillow, trying to block out the annoying shrill ringing. The shrillness reminded me of Beatrice and Rebec—

I bolted straight up in my bed and looked around frantically. My alarm meant only one thing, school. I sighed deeply and thought about all the things that could go wrong today. Let’s see, bullying, the queen b*tches tell the whole school about my cutting and anorexic habits, bullying, getting shoved into garbage cans and lockers, more bullying. What a great day today is going to be! Not.

“Chelsea, turn that god damn alarm off! I can’t sleep!” Louis yelled from somewhere in the house.

His screaming brought me back to reality, making me sigh again. I smashed my fist down on the alarm, shutting it off and engulfing the house in silence once again. I heard Louis sigh in contentment and the loud snores resumed again.

I pulled the blankets off me and stepped onto the plush carpet. I wriggled my toes between the fine strands and just sat out in the cold air for a few minutes. The air was colder than normally. Usually, it would be at least 69 to 71 degrees. Now it seemed 50 degrees or less! What the heck? I stood up from the bed and walked to the en suite bathroom that was attached to my room. After brushing my teeth, I closed the door and striped down till I was completely bare and jumped into the shower.

The hot water scalded my pale body as steam fogged up the glass and made the air humid and muggy. Grabbing my tooth brush, I began to obnoxiously sing “Gone Gone Gone” by Phillip Phillips.

When life leaves you high and dry

I'll be at your door tonight

If you need help, if you need help.

I'll shut down the city lights,

I'll lie, cheat, I'll beg and bribe

To make you well, to make you well.

When enemies are at your door

I'll carry you away from war

If you need help, if you need help.

Your hope dangling by a string

I'll share in your suffering

To make you well, to make you well.

Give me reasons to believe

That you would do the same for me.

And I would do it for you, for you.

Baby, I'm not moving on

I love you long after you're gone.

For you, for you.

You would never sleep alone.

I love you long after you're gone

And long after you're gone, gone, gone.

When you fall like a statue

I'm gon' be there to catch you

Put you on your feet, you on your feet.
