Betrayed

Chapter 5: My life - Fun Or Boring?

After I had dinner with Jeff and Jenny I went home. When I arrived I thought of my plan and thought it was stupid. There is no way she would kill me, I thought. I went to bed.

When I woke up, I heard noise. Was it her or him making breakfast? I got up and went out the house quietly. I would have to skip breakfast today, I thought as I walked to Jeff's house. I had another one of them again, I thought. Okay, my day with Jenny would be the following: to a store to buy things and then a movie.

When I got there I saw Jeff and Jenny, their parents had jobs overseas. I greeted them and while Jenny left to get ready I talked to Jeff. "I see you had another one again." He said." Yeah I did." I told him.

"What was it about?"

"A girl stabbing me with a knife."

"Who? Do you know?"

"Yeah. She looked like Sharon."

I then heard footsteps coming our way so I told him we would talk later. "I'm ready to go." Jenny said cheerfully as she came into the room.

"Let's go." I said as I lead her out the door.

*10 minutes later*

We arrived at a store which I didn't know and really didn't care about . I told her to get anything she wants and I'll pay for her. While she was doing that I went to a book store. When I was done I got back to find Jenny with about 2 things, a stuffed bear and a book. I never knew there were books here I thought. That was probably because I never been here before. I bought both of the things and left with her.

Then we went to some movie theater and I let her choose a movie. I watched it but then got bored of it. I know I should at least pay attention but it wasn't interesting at all.

*1 hour , 25 minutes later*

We then spent the rest of the day doing stuff.

"Today was great." Jenny said as we walked back .

"Yeah I think so too." I agreed.

When we got back I saw Jeff on his phone, probably talking to his friends. Jenny told me she was going to make dinner. I got up to Jeff as he was putting away his phone and told him the date was okay.

"So do you want to go on another one with her?" He asked.

"Sorry, no thanks, I think I have already fallen in love with someone else already."

"Really ,who?"

"It's Sharon."

"Why? Didn't you have that dream where she killed you?"

" I don't know. I just have this feeling that my life will change because of her."

"I see." 

"Yeah."

"Then I'll support you all the way until the end."

"Alright."

I got up and told him that I had to go. I left without saying anything else.

When I got home I saw him, who then punched me in the chest. I fell to the ground, trying to keep my breathing normal .

"What was that for?!" I asked him .

" I did it because you left this house without my permission, you're only allowed to leave for school."

He said back. I decided not to make it worse so I got up, said sorry and went to my room and fell asleep. 

That night I had a dream about me and Sharon in a backyard together. I then woke up. What was that? I thought. I went back sleep thinking nothing.

I woke up the next morning and left a note for them and left the house to go to a bookstore to get  new books. I then went to the park to read in my special spot under a beautiful tree where no one could so me, as I was reading I had a quick nap.

I was later awoken by someone, I saw that it was Sharon.

"Hello Andrew nice to see you here." She said.

"Same" I said back. I got up into a sitting position.

"Why are you here?"

"As you can see I was reading and then fell asleep."

Sharon let out a laugh. 

"Well could you come with me to do some things."

"Sure."  Why not? I am bored after all.

I got up and followed her to a supermarket to help her buy food, then helped her get clothes for her father. I asked her shouldn't her mother do this but she answered that her mother was sick. We went to several other places then stopped to take a break.

"Wow, thanks for helping me this would have taken me all day to finish." Sharon said.

"No problem" I told her. I had fun today I thought. Was it because of her?

"Well, only 2 more things left."

"What are they?"

"Could you help me get a dress?"

"Okay, fine."

"Great, let's go." Sharon grabbed my hand and dragged me with her.

*20 minutes later

"That's fine." 

" Why did you keep saying that? I have to choose one not all 15 of them."

"Okay but this doesn't feel right at all."

"Why is that?"

"Well I don't really know you and why did you ask me to do this?'

"What? I thought you were my friend and because you were there...plus I like you."

"Wait you could have called your frien-wait what did you say?"

"What? You were already there."

"No the last thing."

"What? That I like you?"

"You can't, we just met 2 days ago." 

"Is there a problem with this?"

"No, not really."

"Okay,because I heard from your friend, Jeff that you fell in love with me." 

Ugh stupid Jeff.

"So would you like to go out for some coffee some other time?" She asked.

"Okay fine, I will.

"Great , I knew you would say yes. It's a date!"

After that we exchanged phone numbers and she told me that she could go home on her own even though I insisted. So I walked home and fell asleep without dinner after a shower of course.
