Chapter 9

Skyler:

I find myself on the floor with my neck aching. I walk to my bedroom and look in the mirror.

Crap.

I see red marks around my neck, I quickly put on a pair of black tights with a grey roots sweatshirt. I then grab makeup and attempt to cover up the bruises on my neck, it'll take a about a month for these marks to actually disappear... Bruises seem to love me. I hear a nock from downstairs, assuming it's Haley I grab my things and put on my shoes... Thankfully my dad left for work.

I open the front door, "hey, you ready?" Haley asked cheery.

I smile and nod my head, shutting the door behind me.

The bell rings for lunch and Haley and I head to the lunchroom. I accidentally bump into someone and I tumble down. "Watch where you're going!" Wolf hissed, fixing his sweater.

"You bumped into me!" I hissed back. I got up and wiped my butt. He rolled his eyes.... A very sexy roll I must say and took a step closer to me.

He put hands on my hips and pulled my closer to him, putting his lips where my ears were and whispered, "you better watch how you talk to me brunette." He pulled away from me and brushed past me.

Why did he have to do that! I could feel my cheeks flush red and Haley grinning at me. "Wolf and Skyler sitting in a tree."

"Shut up!" I giggle and I link my arms with hers.

Wolf:

After I past Skyler I see Ray and my other friend Donte smirking. "What?" I snap.

"You and the new girl are starting to hit it off huh?" Donte smiles.

I roll my eyes and stop in front of them. "Skyler fucking wishes." I say more to myself then to them.

"So Skylers her name?" Ray snickers while shoving Donte.

Donte shoves him back, "don't fucking touch me."

"Dude. Chill!" Ray laughs.

Idiots.

We start walking down the hallway and out the school doors. "It's finally Friday! And Saturday I'm going to Caitlin's house.... She said she's got a surprise for me." He snickers and nudges me a bit.

"I've heard that one before." I smirk.

"Shut up!" Ray says a bit angry and crosses his arms.

"Speak of the devil." I smirk and look up ahead.

Rays cheeks turn red and his frown turns into a smile. "Caitlin!" He shouts.

"Ray!" She squeals.

Why do girls have to fucking squeal all the time?

Her eyes widen as looks at me, she starts walking towards us and stops in front of me, "Wolf." She says with a flirtatious smile.

"Caitlin." I smile back.

From the corner of my eye I could see Ray heating up inside but I'm not the type of friend that dates there friends lover.

Yes Ray practically loves the girl, he's liked her since first grade! Sure I hooked up with her but I was drunk! Can't blame me....

I mean sure I flirt with my friends crushes, but I don't do anything with them. "So you're coming to my house right?" Caitlin asked, turning to Ray.

"Of course." He pulls her in closer and start making out.

"Get a room." Donte growled.

I laugh and start heading back to the school until I got stopped by Caitlin, "leaving so soon?" I heard her voice from behind me.

I turn around and stare at her for a moment, "I can't be late for lunch or coach will suspend me from the game tonight."

"Aww, that's to bad." She pouts... Still flirting with me.

Okay... Now I'm starting to get pissed! Was she really flirting with me in front of her boyfriend! Not to mention her boyfriend was my best friend! That little slut. I could tell Ray was hurting by the look in his face and I am not that type of friend.

"You little whore!" I rage. "You have a fucking boyfriend that's right here! And you're fucking flirting with me? HA! Your a freakin joke." I scoff and turn around, not bothering to look at her ugly ass face.

I walk to the school and the bell rings. I pick up the paced... I was practically jogging! But I stop when I bump into someone... I was not in the freakin mood. I see that it's Skyler and I roll my eyes, "watch where you're fucking going." I hiss and continue heading back to my class. Luckily I was early!
