One moon has passed since the triple-warrior-ceremony.
Oakstar smiled down at Fallenkit and Hollowkit, her amber eyes playful. "Clanmates, gather to hear our words!" She called in her birdsong voice. Rustpaw's yellow eyes widened hopefully, but his joy was short-lived.
Boulderstar sat at the top of the Great Rock, his sleek grey tail twitching. "Two kits will become apprentices this sunrise. Hollowkit, step forward,"
The grey tabby tom padded to the Great Rock, pelt sleek and tail high. Fallenkit wondered how he could stay so calm.
"Hollowkit, you are now six moons and are ready to become an apprentice. From this day forward, until you have earned your warrior name, you will be known as Hollowpaw," He paused to gesture at a grey and black she-cat with ice-blue eyes. "Whisperecho will be your mentor. Share your wisdom and strength with Hollowpaw." Fallenkit noticed that he left out the part about her temper. Whisperecho was the least patient (not to mention even-tempered) she-cat in all two Alliances. The two cats touched noses, and Fallenkit knew it was her turn. "Fallenkit, step forward."
She practically floated to the Great Rock, positive that her fur was matted and messy (as usual).
"Fallenkit, you are now six moons and are ready to become an apprentice. From this day forward, until you have earned your warrior name, you will be known as Fallenpaw," A brown-and-white tabby she-cat was at Fallenpaw's side in less than an instant. "Aspenwind, share your cunning mind and strong paws with your apprentice." Aspenwind was the fastest in the Alliances, the cats had raced. Fallenpaw thought it odd that she and Hollowpaw got mentors that were famous around the Clans. Does that mean we're special in some way?
