Her Butler

Her Butler, Always There

  I finally put the pieces together, the blond, was Alois Trancy, now I had the upper hand knowing who he truly was.

  I walked out of the manor to get fresh air. The forest was quite relaxing, to the point where I almost didn't notice the butler and the blond standing in front of me or my butler behind me.

  "Your hurt, I could lick it all better for you." The blond says with faux sincerity. I notice the scratch on my cheek, I must have acquired it walking into the woods.

   "That won't be necessary, Alois Trancy." I say confident smug knowing that I have ruined his plan.

  "So you figured it out, what a bore." He said as he took of the wig and shook out his short blond hair back into its original place. "Well, its not like you were going to get past Claude anyways, he's special." Staring up at Claude then down to Alois, who had his tongue out and there lay his Faustian mark. As I thought, this might be a knew one, fighting another demon.

  I heard Sebastian snicker from behind me as if he knew Claude wouldn't be that much of a threat, which made me slightly more at ease.

  "What do you want Alois." His reply came quick.

   "It's simple, I want you," I was confused, why would he want me, there isn't anything special about me. "And if I don't get what I want everybody in the ball room will be killed shortly, so what will it be?"

    I held my hand over my left eye "Sebastian in my name and that of the Queen make sure that no one, including me, dies tonight."

  "Yes, milady." He replied I not a second later I was in his arms and we were heading back to the castle when we started to hear music and he stopped. "Now that's something I haven't heard in quite a while."

"What is it?" I question.

"Its an Armonica, do your ears hurt, milady?"

  "What a silly thing to ask, no my ears don't hurt." It was kinda a funny question since Sebastian was always serious, to hear him ask such a ridiculous question was amusing.

  "We have to hurry, or this won't turn out well." Sebastian said starting to run again, moving this fast when I couldn't tell what was going on and it made me just a little nervous.

  We were there shortly, running in through the front doors we see that the music is affecting everyone, controlling them to attack other people. That is strange, why is not affecting me. When I turn around to ask Sebastian, I see he's up on the second floor and on the railing there are a bunch of glass cups with different amounts of water in each cup, a glass harp.

The sound of Sebastian playing over road the Armonica and harmonized with is so the tune wasn't as dark and people started to come back from acting like zombies. The music was strange, it was very peaceful, calming, making it ironic that a demon was playing it.

  All of the people came back from being under the influence of the Armonica. I still find it strange that that Armonica affected everyone else except me, it didn't make any sense but as of late, nothing has been making sense.

  Just then, the front doors open and then walks in is Alois Trancy. After introducing himself he began to talk to other people attending the ball. Now that he isn't wearing women's clothes I could now see that he has icy blue eyes and platinum blond hair. He looked as if he was either 19, like me, or 20. He was at least an inch or two taller than me, so he was roughly 5'9.

  From here I couldn't tell what him and his demon were talking about. After talking back in forth the butler looked like he received orders and walked out of the estate.

I needed Sebastian to follow him, I needed to know what this was all about. I looked around for Sebastian. What I found surprised me, he was talking to a man dressed in all white about the same height as Sebastian, just slightly taller. His hair was neatly combed to the side, but it's his eyes that cought me. They were such a vibrant shade of green. I don't think Sebastian or this other man noticed that is seen them. Sebastian then nodded and then the other man walked out of the ball room as Sebastian made his way to me. I was curious, but I chose not to mention it.

"Follow him," I was already suspicious of the real reason that Alois Trancy 'wanted' me and I wanted Sebastian to find out. I also thought against it to ask who the man was.

  "Of course, milady," he said.

  Now was my chance, the bag in the drawing room that had my other clothes. The pirate hat covered my blue hair so Alois wouldn't put together the pieces and realize it was me even after I put the new costume on.
  
    My costume was Juliet, the dress was simple yet elegant. The wig I was wearing covered the Faustian sign on my left eye and matched my blue-grey hair color.

   "You always seem nervous at these things." I said to Edward. He was just looking into the crowed as if he didn't know what to do. He asked me to dance, I agreed. I wonder what Sebastian and Claude where doing now, not that I was worried about him or anything.

   "I just never really liked big social events." He said

    "I don't care for them either, but for the sake of reputation I attend them," He chuckled a light chuckle, "I just can't wait for this night to be over." As we were making our way across the dance floor, we crossed paths with Alois Trancy, I know this won't be the last time I see him.

   "Me too."
