Up and Down

Up and Down Part 1

                                          I was just standing there looking at into his dark wavy hair and tan, soft skin. He turned around quickly and he bumped into me, spilling his black coffee and my light hazelnut coffee and Lei's french vanillia latte with "fresh" wiped cream. He just took a long stare at my freshly washed face with a hint of mascara. He quickly picked up the empty coffee cups and I got the napkins. He said sorrowfully"Sorry for making this huge mess, I proably made you late. " I said "Actually I'm not late..." I paused for a long time. Then he smiled and I slowly conutined "... I think you just made my day" I thought to myself how cheesy I sounded and I just wanted to run into my car and cry but he instead he laughed and it made me feel so much better. Lei forcefully opened the door in rage. "What's taking you so long,..." She instantly stopped herself because she saw the look on my face. She ran on the line to order another french vanillia and hazelnut coffee. "See you around" the misterious guy said. I replied "Yea, see you" He started toward the door, he looked back and smile and of coarse I smiled back but unlike him my checks turned into 2 bright tomateos. Lei walked to me with her french vanillia and my coffee "Thanks!" I said still in a state of shock and still staring at the door. "Who was that" Lei asked. "I don't know he didn't say his name but he made me feel... I don't know how to explain it but he is different from the rest of them." She grabbed my hand and pulled me to the car and we drove back to our appartment.

At the apparment...

Court lied on the couch half dead. Me and Lei tilted the couch and Court slowly rolled off and hit the ground with her sleepy fist. She instatly woke up. "What? What's wrong?" We both laughed at how drunk she was last night. After making all of us breakfast, we all were talking about what happened last night. "How drunk was I last night? On a scale from 1 to 10." Lei and me looked at one another and laughed our heads off. "Be serious, How much?" She told us again. We both replied " 11" "HOLY CRAP, I was that drunk. I need to stop drinking" she answered. But in our mind we all know that she will drink that very night. The door bell rings, "We never have visitors" I questioned the bell. "Who is it?" Court said with a worried voice. She looked through the hole in the door and then she smiled and opened the door. "Hey, sis..." a tall pale skinned male walked in "... How is my little sis getting along in her new home?" Before Court wanted to answer his questions, she asked her own. "Luke what are you doing here?" Luke looked down at her and said "Just wanted to see my baby sister!" "The real reason, Luke!" Court sparled back 'cause she knew her brother was lying to her face. "Ok..." he sighed "... mom and dad said that I needed to move out because I'm too old to live with them, so..." he paused and looked at all three of us and asked "... Could I stayed here? Only until I can get on my feet again or until mom and dad forgive me!" Court pulled me and Lei in the bathroom and locked the door behind us. She put her ear againest the door to hear if Luke was listening in on our convo. " It's a no, right girls" Court sprung on us "Well...  he has nowhere else to go" I said softly and quietly. "I think he should stay" Lei quicked reponeded. I stared at her and I could see that she liked him from the start and that's why she wanted him to stay. I didn't know him and I didn't like him like Lei does but I felt bad about the fact he will be living on the streets when he could have stayed here, safe with us. "Are you guys serious?!..." Court said with a bright red face. "...Luke said the same thing to my parents that he was going to moved out when he finds a good paying job and a nice little house but he never looked for a job or saved the money for a house. He will never get back on his feet. HE NEVER WAS ON HIS FEET TO BEGIN WITH!" She yelled at us. He knocked on the door, Court opened it and she ran out and we follwed along. Court said "We don't think it's a good idea if you stay." Luke screamed at Court "After all the things I did for you" Court looked back at us and yelled with total angryer "You never did anything for me! GET OUT! I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN!!! I HATE YOU!" Luke just looked at her in total shock and I guess he didn't believe that she would ever say that to him. "I will go and sorry for causing this" he said this in a softly and gentle voice, all most appelagitic. After at least a good half an hour she finally calmed down. After what happened it was quiet in our appartment for a little less than an hour. We were just thinking about what just happened just a few mintues ago. Her face looked like she regretted what she said to her brother and at the same time she knew it was true and she wishes that her brother would change but he would never change. "What are going to do now." Lei said softly but still with a little force to it. "I don't know just give me a sec" Court said a bit mad but of coarse not us. I wanted to speak but I knew it would make things worst... or could it make it better I thought to myself but I didn't want to find out which one it was. Lei got up and said "I need to get away from this for a little bit. I will be up stairs in my room" I knew why Lei left, she was sick of sitting in silence and all the drama and she was upset that she would never see Luke and his soft eyes and feel his fresh light colored hair ever. I wanted to leave but Court was my best friend, I needed to stay. "Do you wa.." I only said half of what I really wanted to say because answered the question I was going to ask. "I'm fine!" She firmly said but in a gentle way. "Ok" I reposed softly and I slowly made my way to my room to go think things through and how to fix what happened. And if I could fix it.

It was  6:23 in the morning and I was the only one up, like every morning expect the weekends; I'm the last one to wake up. So I went down stairs to make coffee but today I didn't feel like making it. So I decided to go to Starbucks like the other day. I ran into the bathroom and brushed my hair into a topknot and grabbed my keys. I drove off in my black jeep. I walked into Starbucks and waited on line like everyone else. Finally it was my turn to order and I order what I always get, a light hazelnut coffee or a light hazelnut iced coffee. Now that I think about it, I sound boring. "Ari" a girl with blonde hair with purple and blue tips called my name. "That's me!" I had to yell because everyone was talking loudly.  "Thanks!" I said grabbing my coffee. I looked around and saw an open table and I took a sit. I grabbed my phone out of my sweater pocket and I texted Court and Lei and asked if they wanted me to get them coffee while I'm here. I put my phone down and drank a sip of my iced coffee. I put my coffee back down and looked up and I saw a tall, tan man standing by my table and I realized it was HIM...
