Kidnapped (On Hold)

Part 25

Sarah P.O.V.

             So, after what seemed like hours, we finally left the hospital. I have a pink cast on my leg and I now have to use crutches for the next 3 months. Or more. They will have to see if it is better closer to time. And that means I can't compete in my dressage competition next month. I have a horse named Candy that I ride. You know what! I am not going to be complaining about my self! Talyn is still out there and we have to find her! And what am I doing right now? Complaining about how I can't compete in a competition. There will always be others! I need to focus on getting Talyn back!
          " Oh no...." Darby says sighing as she looks out the window as we drive up to Mr. and Mrs. Byrd's house.
           I turn my head to look what she was looking at. I sigh as I see three different news reports and people with cameras taking pictures of us driving up in the car. " Well, this will be fun!" I say sarcastically.
          Darby nods her head. Darby is wearing a brace on her nose. She broke that also. We are probably the most clumsy people in the world!
          We get out of the car and the reporters run to us all asking questions at the same time.  I look in all directions as my name is called by different people. Darby is too. 
        " Ok, ok, people please move out of the way! Come on girls. Let's go inside" my dad says as we walk behind him. Well, Darby walks. I just hop on my crutches.
         My arms are already sore from the crutches. My leg hurts like crazy too. My mom comes over and helps me walk a little. She takes the crutches and puts one arm around my waist and helps me walk on my good leg. I sigh in relief. The crutches were hurting really bad!
          Sarah, what did I say about feeling sorry for your self! I think to my self.
        I walk inside and my mom helps me walk.... or should I say hop to the couch. I lay down and Darby sits at the edge of the couch. An officer sits across from us.
        "Hello girls, I am Officer Holland. Welcome home! We are all glad that you are back. I am here to ask a few questions." The officer says.
