Part 10

DARBY POV

We quietly run into the woods. " Weeeee! Fun!!" Yells Talyn with a giggle.
            Sarah and I gasp and Sarah says," Talyn be quiet ok? We are playing a game. If we get away from these people we win, other wise we lose. To win, we have to be quiet ok?"

" Ok, shhhhhhh," Talyn whispers putting her finger to her lips.

I look at the hotel to make sure they did not hear and come outside.

I don't see them, so I motion Sarah to start running again. She nods and we both take off.

When we make it into the woods, we start to walk. Sarah sets Talyn down and she walks with us.

" Did we win yet?" Talyn asks Sarah.

" Not yet, we have to make it home first. Let's start to run so we can win faster ok? How fast can you run?" Sarah replies.

" Very fast." Talyn says starting to run straight.

We start to run after her. She is only 3 and cannot run that fast, but it's better then walking.

" Okay, let's turn right and follow the road. We are pretty much out of sight right?" Sarah asks me.

" Yeah, probably. Let's go." I reply turning and guiding Talyn to the right.

Talyn starts to run again. We run after her.

Talyn is about 5 feet in front of us when she abruptly stops.

She starts to whine like she is scared. I glance at Sarah and we walk to her.

We both gasp in horror at what we see.
