You were on your couch admiring an armband made out of intricately braided black paracord. As you looked at it tears once again beginning to sting the back of your eyes as you remembered the heart aching memories that were tied into it. Your boyfriend Jeff the Killer had given it to you not long after you two had started dating and it has never let your side since. It brought back all the hurt that consumed you to the brink of immobility because; along with all those heart fluttering memories was the one where he left without saying a word. Suddenly a knock at your front door brought you back to reality.

"Coming," you called, your voice saturated with the pain that was debilitating. When you unlocked the door, slowly began to open it, and saw who was on the other side your heart nearly broke out of your chest with joy.

It was Jeff with your favorite movie and a box of pocky in his hands along with an apologetic smile on his eternal carved smile.

Without a second thought you ran into his protective, safe arms forcing him to pick you up and spin you around to avoid toppling over. Tears of pure joy flowed freely from your eyes as you put all of the force you could muster into hugging him fearing that if you let go he would leave you again. "WHERE DID YOU GO?! I WAS SO WORRIED ABOUT YOU!" you cried into his now tear soaked white hoodie when you back on your feet. He tilted his head forward so that his lips were level with your ear.

"Everything is fine now that I'm here with you," he whispered, his voice sounding almost as hurt as yours. "I'm here to ask for your forgiveness for the idiotic, callous way I acted and if possible to ask if you would take me back?"

You pride yourself out of his arms so that you could look at his bleach white leather face, dark eyes with dried blood where his eyelids would be and a carved smile from ear to ear which now contacted the saddened expression that stared back at you. "Well that's going to be a bit of a challenge for you," you teased," but if you play your cards just right I might let you off the hook."

At that a small smile had now taken the place of the frown that was uncharacteristic of him. "That why I brought peace offerings," he said as he raised he movie and pocky into my view. You gave a little chuckle which sounded foreign to your ears since the only sound that filled them up till now were the heart breaking, body shuddering sobs that emanated from the dark pit that had made its home inside your soul. "So...are we going to inside or no?" Jeff asked bringing your attention back from to the present.

"Oh...yeah sure come on in," you said as you went back inside with Jeff not that far behind you. When you reentered your living room you hastily tried to grab all the tear soaked tissues that littered the little corner that you had basically lived in since he left. You hoped he didn't notice but the sadness in his eyes tells you he did. "Sorry about that," you said wishing it come across as uneasy as you felt, which was immediately followed by a shaky laugh. At this point he was standing in front of you but you couldn't bring yourself to look at his face fearing the expression that would be on it. He tucked a stray piece of hair that fallen out of place behind your ear before bringing his hand under your chin, tilting it up.

"You don't have to apologize that's my job," he said tilting his head slightly to the right as he gazed into your (e/c) eyes. You stood their seemingly frozen in place for a few seconds before awkwardly turned your head so that you were no longer looking at him.

"How about we get that movie started," you skittishly said as you moved around Jeff and began to busy yourself with setting up the movie. By the time everything was ready to go Jeff had taken his usual spot in the middle of your couch. As the movie began to play you were snuggled up to his left side, your left arm resting on his toned stomach as you were sneakily taking in his beloved scent, the one you so desperately missed. Your body filled with warmth as you felt his left arm fall back into its regular spot on your left hip.
