Author's Note:
So I've been posting pics of my cast for the story, but I just wanted to say, most of these actors are WAY older than my characters. It's not permanent, or exactly what I had in mind for how they look, but it's just the general idea. Anyway, enjoy chappy 17 ;D

Kael's POV:
So the plan is now finalized, I expect? Asked the master inside my head.
Yes, the idea belongs to a little boy Lily has grown quite fond of. His parents are both deceased now, so she's making everyone build him a seperate home next to mine. I replied.
Really? What is the name of this boy?
Wymon. She went to see him the night you sent a guard to scare her. He apparently got his wings from saving her after she had been trapped by a forbidden spell.
The master growled inside my head. He was undeniably irritated, and left my mind. Forbidden spells are meant for killing. She wasn't meant to be killed. Which ever guard was sent to spook her obviously disobeyed orders, and will be executed.
Luckily for me, the master usually contacts me while I am alone. If I am near anyone they can always tell that I am distracted. This time he caught me while bathing in the creek. I stepped out and dried myself off, slipping on my light-weight tan linen shirt and pants.
Lily's POV:
"Oh hey Kael."
"Good morning." He tilted his head in a slight nod, which flicked water in all directions from his wet hair.
Stoking the fire in the pit with a long hooked iron rod, I stood up and handed him a carved wooden bowl of my improvised version of oatmeal. Kael stared at it with a bewildered expression. Apparently, oatmeal wasn't very popular on the Palladian breakfast menu.
"Eat it. Here," I dropped in a few dark purple berries that I found in his kitchen, and poured in a drizzle of honey, "This will make it sweeter. On our way to the underground yesterday I picked some oats I found along side the path. Trust me, it's edible, I just cooked it in water."
Dipping the matching wooden spoon in the pale oatmeal, he hesitantly put a scoop in his mouth. Just the mere look on his face as he tried to process what he was eating made me laugh out loud, a laugh I hadn't let out in a long time. But he just kept on eating more until he eventually stopped making the disgusted face.
"Is my oatmeal tollerable yet?" Scooping a big mouthful of it in my own mouth just to add pinch of annoyance. Actually, it was pretty good. Predictably, Kael just did that indifferent shrug he always does, got up, and went into the kitchen.
A loud humming noise started getting close until the source, Deliah, flew right over the house, doing several sommersaults in the air until landing in front of me. Her face was glowing with an inner happiness that matched her pearly tattoos that dotted up and down her arms and legs.
"Lily, Lily, Lily! How are you on this fine morning?" The tone in which she said everything was almost shrieky; her wings fluttered at almost every syllable. Clearly, she slept well.
"Good, good, good!" I mocked her back. She didn't seem to notice though. But her eyebrows furrowed slightly.
"Do you not know what today is?"
"No...?"
"Today we are going to start building Wymon's home! This means we get to meet him in the market to buy supplies of course."
