I tried to sleep, but the sharp pains were just getting worse and worse. I decided I was just going to lie in bed and wait to see if the pain would go away but it didn't, not a single bit! If anything, they were getting worse. I sat up in my bed and turned on the lamp that was on my nightstand, it was bright, I looked at the clock:
6:30 in the morning, I hopped out of bed and onto the soft white carpet that was ooo!!oibeneath me. The pain was irresistible,
"Deep breaths" I whispered, "Deep breaths!" I said again.
I was pretty sure I was going to have my baby soon. I picked up the phone and called Zanessa,
"Hello?" Zanessa said on the other line, her voice sounded cracked and tired, I probably interrupted her sleep.
"Zaness!" I yelled, from the other side.
"I think-I think I'm going into labour soon!" I added in between breaths.
"Oh my god!" I will be there as soon as possible!" She yelled, it's almost as if I could see her eyes widen.
I clicked off on the phone and tossed it on the bed, I didn't really care, I just needed to get my bag ready for the hospital.
I grabbed a pair of comfy clothes and threw them into the suitcase, a checklist running through my head at the same time as I checked them off.
Baby clothes, my clothes, toothbrush.
I heard a knock at he door an I knew it was Zanessa, I grabbed my bag and threw on a pair of flip flops.
I Walke door the door feeling excited, Little Dane was going to be here and hopefully soon, Zanessa drove like she was in Fast and Furious to the hospital. When we got there I was rushed to emergency because I was in labour, I lied on the hospital bed, taking deep breaths.
"Are you ready!" The doctor asked.
" I gave him a nod yes.
"Ok here we go!" He said.
My life is about to change forever.. I thought to myself quickly.
5 hours later....
I finally gave birth to my bouncing baby boy Dane! He was beautiful, he had light, thin strands of hair that stood up on his head and long fingers and toes. I was handed a birth certificate with all the information about Dane:
Time of Birth: 12:09
Date of Birth: August 9th
Full Name: Dane Alexander O'Connor
Dane was so handsome, I was so happy that he was here, but he had no father, I wasn't going to let that bring me down though, because, it is Daniels loss that he doesn't get to see his Handsome Son Dane. He was perfect in every way.
