The main difference between a lot of upstanding citizens and most convicted felons is that the convicted felons got arrested and convicted. While the upstanding citizens continue to commit felonious capers molestation. While the upstanding citizens look down their noses at the convicted. While the upstanding citizens literally sit in judgment in spite of their felonious deeds.
Sure, not all of those who judge are guilty of hypocrisy. There are actually some in the justice system who are righteous and upstanding. Still they look down their noses at the convicted. Along with their not so righteous peers.
There are even some, who are tax paying, law abiding, righteous, upstanding citizens, who have never committed a single crime, who have been convicted and are incarcerated. And certainly, everyone who is imprisoned, is guilty. Of being arrested, if nothing else.
The fact is...the justice system is flawed. Misidentifications, misrepresentation, malfeasance or sometimes just plain human error. The justice system turns its blind eye to these inaccuracies.
The concept of people judging people is absolutely wrong from the onset. I have never tried and convicted. I pray, that I never will have to face twelve of my so called peers in a court of law. "Peers", who might convict me based on their feelings instead of the actual facts. Which may or may be in evidence.
Just as much, I would hate to have to sit in judgment of another person. As if I were some court appointed God image. As if I have the right to pass judgment... Especially, of someone who may be innocent... Of someone who the evidence may have been skewed to make the innocent appear guilty.
With so much corruption and possible margin of error in the court system. Maybe, the court system itself should be tried and convicted...
We surely must have laws and punishments to remain civil...
But who am I to judge?!?!?
