I didn't quite think about my actions before I acted on them because I was honestly surprised when his hands gripped my already sore hips and slammed me on the floor, his knee separating my legs. My mind immediately went into a hazy bliss and I didn't notice when the door slowly and cautiously opened, debris moving aside.
"Mr and Mrs.Bailey?" a small mouse-haired woman questioned, shielding her eyes and terror seeping through her voice.
Tuck growled lowly and lifted his lips from mine. My wolf was quick to snap my mind back to reality as I peered over Tuck's shoulder. "WH-" he snapped and stopped himself when my hand rested on his chest. Clearing his throat, Tuck tried again. "What?"
"The," she shifted her weight. "The King and Queen have called for you. They want you to dress and as I quote the King, act like perfect little pups in front of your people today for your party. Twilah and Juliet are looking quite adorable in their dresses I might say."
Though we we're legally King and Queen, as a sign of respect our house still calls Ferdinand and Amelia Gregori by their previous titles. It's quite strange to others but those in our direct pack understand.
"What party?" I perk up, using Tuck's body as a shield.
She tried to hide her gasp, "Have you forgotten my Queen?" her brown eyes widened.
"Forgotten.." I begin to trail off and think about it. Shit. "Oh. THAT PARTY!" I look at Tucker in alarm. "Tuck! I've completely forgotten about him! I really hope he's not mad! Tuck! Get moving we need to get this perfect!" I panic and the maid quickly leaves as i shove Tuck away.
"Calm down Clau, you we're finished with everything weren't you?" Tuck asks, snagging two towels for us from the bathroom.
"Yeah I am but they're waiting for us and I still have to go down and speak with Felicia! She's probably more panicked than a normal bride! SHE'S HUMAN! You can't forget that honey!" I panic, heading towards the door. "We're supposed to walk her in," I look at the clock. "Ten minutes! We're not even dressed!"
I sprint into the hall and glance around, looking for the blue, grey and black skirts of our maids. "All attention!" my voice rings out into the hall and more than expected faces pop out of the rooms in our hall. "I need quite a few of you to dress me after I talk to Felicia and the rest need to help Tucker.. Anyone else needs to make sure the couple's room is spotless and romantic for tonight."
With a seemingly synced nod, the maids burst off, sweeping Tuck into a group as I quickly ran down the first flight of stairs and down the hall to the make up room. Bursting in in just a towel certainly got Felicia's attention.
"Claudia?" she held back a laugh. "You went alpha didn't you," she smirked, noting my bruises. Blushing I sat down.
"Maybe. Hey, don't knock it until you try sex with a wolf. It's better than any human I've heard," I smirk and glance over her finished appearance.
Felicia's curled auburn hair and lavender makeup worked magnificently with the gold undertones in her skin and her dress clung to her slim flame in all of the right places. Her petite feet were delicately placed into gold sandals and it all was perfect, matching the colors of the rest of the wedding. I'm happy she could have her dream wedding.
As she began to speak, the maids I had called on slipped in and swirled me into my large and puffy gold dress that I specifically had made to accent Felicia's dress to stick out against Tuck and I as we walked with her down the isle. After it was all done I opened the doors and we had three minutes to spare. As we approached the doors to the winter ballroom, Felicia began to hesitate.
She grabbed my arm and looked at me with panic written clearly in her face. "I'm so out of place here. Are you sure I can do this?"
She was on the human thing. Again. Smiling politely, I nodded. "Felicia, there are many like you it's normal for a human to be a werewolf's mate."
"But a royal beta? How can I keep up?" she asked.
"Darling, it's not so rough. You'll get a hang of it-" the band began to play. "C'mon Felicia. You can't miss your own wedding," I nudged her.
With a deep breath, she regained her composure and the doors were opened. Tucker hooked his arm through mine as Felicia's father hooked his through hers. I skimmed across the grinning crowd and made sure all was in order. The wedding held in the summer looked like we were indeed in a winter wonderland and I'd call it perfect but here's really no words for how this turned out. Godforsaken, mine wasn't even close to this but it didn't bother me.
Perfection was all I could give for what happened between him and I. Our relationship was so strong and we were so sure- but I abandoned him for so long. Our friendship vanished along with Tuck so long ago.. But now all I knew was I still loved that dumb boy; the boy who replaced Tuck as a brother. The boy Tuck and I were glad to call out royal beta.
With Twilah and Juliet on our hips, Tuck and I stood proudly next to the priest throughout the ceremony as I watched my old flame marry his true love. I glanced up at Tuck and a smile played at his lips, softening his features as his joy was radiating off him- he's a softly really. I was a proud Queen and friend the moment Felicia and Benvolieo sealed their love; starting their new life. A life I was happy Benvolieo was offered.
