James think that the dream he dreamed was ruining his life because until today, he is still desperately thinking about that dream. He doesn’t know why this dream made him and his friend, Venice so nervous. He felt that something bad will happen soon.
While he locked his bike on the school’s bike rack, he overlooked on the school’s main gate and saw Venice talking to Sir Dick. They looked like they were talking something serious.
James wished they were not talking about what happened yesterday or he will be dead. He knew he didn’t show a nice conduct infront of his teacher and he also knew he will be in detention. Meaning, his mom will be called; his dead and he will be grounded for about forever!
He rushed going to them.
He removed his earphones on his ears and put it on his bag and called Venice’s name as loud as he can so that he can get her attention.
“Good morning Sir Dick! Good morning Venice!” James said “I think you are taking about something important. Sir Dick, can I talk to you later after you talk to Venice? There’s just something I want to tell you about my attitude yesterday.”
“Its okay,” Sir Dick answered. “I don’t mind on what happened yesterday. And you can join us. There’s something Venice wants to tell you about.”
“And what is that?” James asked sarcastically
“I also told Dianne, Nexel and May a while ago and they approved” Venice explained “My mom said that we need to join the camping trip Sir Dick told us about. And I approved.”
“What…but…how about- “James stammered
“Uh… Venice told me about the dream. I think her mom is right. Dreams are dreams”
“I think Sir Dick is right” Venice agreed
James waved his hand in the air dismissively. He didn’t know why Venice joined the camping trip.
“Is everyone going nuts?” James wondered
“But…” James shrugged and walked away
“Sir Dick, I think I should talk to him” Venice said
“Ok” Sir Dick agreed
Venice ran to the direction where James went
“Wait!” Venice called out as James walked furiously
James turned around and stops. He knew that joining the camping trip is not a big deal but he felt something will happen soon. Something he woudn’t expect to happen to his life.
“Why?” James asked “Why did you agreed to join that camping trip?”
“I think Dianne’s right! It is only a coincidence that we have the same dream. I think were only overreacting. Where did you see a creature that is a half man and half bull? And where did you see a creature that is a half man and a half goat who talks back to a talking fountain?” Venice said
“But you said you only dreamed of the half man and half bull?”
“That’s not important anymore” Venice pointed out “The point was were only overreacting”
James shrugged and said “I think your right. But I have still a bad feeling about this.”
Venice put his arms around James “I think everything will be alright”
