A week later…

“Phoebe,” My mom said pulling me into a hug.

“I missed you Mom,” I let out.

She smiled, “You look amazing,”

“Thanks,” I let out smiling.

“Your sister is upstairs,” My dad let out hugging me.

“Shelby,” My mother yelled.

She came down, “Phoebe,”

“I missed you so much,” I let out.

“Where’s Zayn?” my mother asked.

“He couldn’t get the time off, but he let me come see you guys,” I let out.

“How is he?” She asked.

“He’s alright,” I smiled at her.

“How about you guys, how are you two doing?” She asked.

I know my mother didn’t really approve of us getting married so young.

She said over and over, it was the wrong decision because high school love never lasts.

I am determined to prove her wrong.

“We’re doing good,” I smiled.

“That’s good to hear,” She smiled at me.

I nodded and Shelby brought me upstairs to unpack my stuff for the week.

I called Zayn while I was unpacking.

“Hey beautiful,’ He said answering the phone.

“What are you doing?” I asked as I unzipped my suitcase.

“On break,” He let out then asked, “How’s everything there?”

“Good, they asked for you.” I let out as I pulled out some pajamas for later.

“Tell them I said hi,” He let out.

“I will,” I let out.

“I miss you,” He said.

“I miss you too, it’s only a few days. I’ll be home before you know it,” I let out.

“Now I know how it felt,” He let out.

“Zayn,” I sighed then finished, “I went months…” I said bluntly.

“I know, I know.” He let out.

“Well Shelby is waiting for me, I’ll talk to you later. I love you,” I let out.

“Alright. Have fun, I love you too,” He sighed.

“Bye handsome,” I said as I hung up.

This whole week was spent with my family trying to talk me into having a baby and to grow a backbone and confront him about it.

I was going to.

I mean yeah there was the con that he wouldn’t be there, but then I would always have him with me and have someone who I know could love me back.

Someone to keep my mind busy and I could love so much.

I was going to confront him no matter what happened.

The week went by fast, I called Zayn here and there.

The last time I called him he seemed angry.

Angry or not, we were having that conversation.

“Flight 201 from Virginia Beach is now landed.” The announcer let out as we entered luggage claim.
