RUBY POV
"OMG!" I shouted as I ran out of the house I couldn't believe they finally knew the secret id kept for this long. I felt so embarrassed and ashamed! I fell down to the sand and sobbed I just wanted it to be over!
"Ahhh" I screamed "the baby Ahhh somethings happening, someone help me!" I screamed out in pain!
"Rubes" Charlie shouted as she ran down to me! "What's happening what's going on!" Charlie screamed "it's the baby somethings wrong" I sobbed.
"Okay let's move you to the car" Charlie said tying to be calm.
"Charlie I can't move ahhhhh" I shouted, "I think I'm loosing the baby" I cried.
"RUBY" I heard casey shout I looked up and brax and casey were running down the beach with a fear look in there eyes! "What's going on" casey shouted, "ruby are U ok" he asked.
"Look we need to go the hospital but she can't move" Charlie said.
"Here come on ruby" brax said while picking me up in his arms!
"Ahhhhhhh Charlie I'm scared" I cried
"Hey baby it's going to be ok" Charlie said trying to calm me down!
"Thanks brax" I added!
"Oi for wha, if it's for carrying u don't thank me you like family rubes an I love you,we will get passed this families always do" brax added he build my conference up to fight this, "thank you brax,I love you to" I added
We finally got to the car an brax gently placed me in,case sat next to me and I placed my head on his soft chest and he stroked my hair and whispers in my ear " I love you rubes" i gently whispers back "I love you to"!
CHARLIE POV
Brax was just about to get in the front seat when I stopped him.
"Hey brax wait, thank you for saying all that stuff to rubes it calmed her down," I said "I didn't break up with you to hurt you I love you it's just rubes should be my main concern at the minute" I calmly added!
"I love you to,I know you would never hurt me,what makes you say that" brax gently said,
"Brax come on as soon as you walked in I smelt whiskey,and I could tell you had been crying" I said.
"Oi don't mention Tha to anyone I got a hard man rep I need to keep" laughed brax!
"What hard man rep" I laughed!
We both got in the car and ruby began to cry in pain case held her in the back until we arrived! Brax slowly picked rubes up and carried her in the hospital "can we get some help over here please" I shouted!
Sid and two other nurses ran over with a bed and brax gently placed ruby on it!
"What's going on!" Sid said
"She's a month pregnant and has on and off shooting pains in her stomach" I said!
"Are you bleeding" Sid asked!
"No" ruby cried!
"Okay let's get you in and check what's going on!" Sid said " have you had a hospital appointment" Sid asked!
"No I only found out a few days ago still in shock" rubes added!
" you should of by now but let's do a scan" Sid said
They placed cold gel on Ruby's stomach and we all watched the screen and waited!
"Ahh there it is can u see,listen there's the heartbeat" sid kindly said!
"Wow it's amazing,is everything okay with it" ruby cried.
"Yes everything is-wait a minute"
Sid Shockley Said!
"What going on what's up, Charlie what's Happening" ruby cried "Ahhh another pain" ruby shouted " nothing baby Sid is just double checking,right?" I asked sternly!
Sid stuck a needle in rubes leg and took some blood he had tests to do but no matter how much we begged him he still wouldn't tell us!!
Rubes cried in my arms until sid finally came back!
"Just as I suspected, ruby are you ok for me to speak with such a big audience" Sid said " Ye I'm fine just for tell me what's wrong with my baby" ruby shouted!
" it seems your baby is having problems but we can't really tell because it's still so small, but were guessing your baby is suffering from kidney failure!"
"What!" Ruby cried "what's does that even mean it's going to be okay right" ruby sobbed! "Look ruby I hate to say this but your baby might only make it to 5-6 months if that" said sadly said
"Well can't I give birth then please tell me there is something we can do" ruby cried!
"We could do that but you need to understand the chances of this baby ever making It to one is really slim it's going to be premature we will need to operate and do a kidney transplant it's just such a long journey for just a little baby with not much strength" Sid added!
"This baby is a fighter! I can feel it!" Rubes sobbed!
"I'm sorry just prepare your self that you could also lose the baby at any part in the pregnancy" Sid said.
I could tell that ruby had no fight left she broke down in my arms and screamed I told everyone to get out I needed time alone with my baby! Everyone calmly left and after 20 minutes ruby calmed down and said!
"I don't remember much, it was dark I was drunk"
"What you talking about" I sadly said!
RUBY POV
I was trying to tell Charlie the story of my rape with out having to say it in black and white, I looked at Charlie and she finally knew what I was talking about!
" I remember falling over by a parked car" I cried " there was a man but I couldn't see his face he took advantage of me while I was drunk you know took the chance while he could!" I cried " I remember telling him to stop,I shouted out but I was drunk i couldn't really scream he placed his hand over my mouth anyway so I barley had look i could see under the car more drunk people walking past I begged they would turn my direction just to see what was going on! He took his top of and started kissing my kneck, that's When I knew what was happening I struggled but I was weak of the alcohol I could barley see! I remember thinking what an idiot I am letting this happen to me, I mean how pathetic" I sobbed! " hey don't ever blame yourself for this ok that man will pay I promise you" Charlie cried! " he lifted my dress up and separated my legs he starting rubbing his finger up and down and the inbetween of my legs he then started to lift it up more were the rest of my body was there for him Tha last thing I remember was hearing the zip on his pants undo a few minutes later I must of passed out because all I remember is waking up naked my cloths on the floor in some bush that's were he must of moved me so no one could find me, I bet he was made up when I passed out it makes me feel sick the things he could of done to me while I layed there passed out and Alone! He had his two hands back aswel" I sobbed loudly! "Omg ruby! I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you why didn't you tell me" Charlie cried she was in bits by this point "I guess when I woke up I hoped I'd deemed it, but no now I have his baby inside of me that's dying and for some reason I love this child, how can I love something that's caused me so much pain" I broke down in Charlie's arms then casey ran in and held me in his arms " I'm so sorry rubes I'm so sorry" he said as he held me tight! Charlie broke down and walked out, brax chased her!
CHARLIE POV
I couldn't do it I had to get out, I broke Down on the hospital floor and didn't care who could see me! "How did I let this happen to my baby girl? How" I sobbed loudly as brax picked me up and sat me on a chair " Charlie stop blaming your self it's ok, it's not you fault" he said as I sobbed in his arms!
I felt a tear hit my head it was brax!
He was starting to cry himself!
" I went through all that at such a young age my self I know what if feels like I know what she's going through I don't want my baby to go through that" I sobbed!
"Hey Charlie you got through it ok and so will rubes and her baby is going to be fine just like ruby was," brax said,
"Ruby didn't have kidney failure" i said!
"You need to be strong now for rubes ok go back in there and he there for her" brax said!
"What if I can't" I said.
"I know you can" brax said.
We went back in rubes room to find her and casey asleep on the bed!
"Why don't we leave them ay" brax said!
I leaned up and kissed him with such Passion her put his arms in my waist and kissed me back! As I pulled away I said " thank you I love you so much, I don't ever want to lose you again"
" I love you to" brax added!
A few hours later rubes started screaming in her sleep
"Ahhhh no!!' Ahhhhh"
I ran over to her and woke her up calmly!
"Ruby your okay mummy's got you"
I said!
"He knows I'm pregnant I can see his figure coming he's gunna come and get Me" ruby cried!
" no he's not I won't ever let him near you again" I cried!
"I'm sorry I couldn't protect you then rubes,but I promise you I will protect you now" casey calmly said
"Don't be sorry case I love you" ruby said
"I love you to" case said!
"I feel ridiculous it happened a month ago and I'm still going on!" Ruby said.
"Hey don't ever say that you never has people to support you then you do now, and to be honest rubes the pain never goes away!" I said.
Ruby broke down in my arms I hate my baby girl being like this!
"Hey Charlie,can I speak to you for a second" Sid asked!
"Ye sure" I said "I'll be right back rubes" I said while kissing the top of her head!
I walked out to see sids worried face!
"Sid what's going on,you look a little on edge" I nervously said.
"I don't wanna hurt Ruby anymore than I know she already is" Sid said!
"Sid what do you mean!" I said.
The look sids face told me there was something wrong! He then said "what I mean Charlie is that Ruby's baby is very Sick the kidney failure is somehow we think affecting it's heart"
"Omg,what does this mean" I said
"It means that Ruby's baby is going to have to be really really strong if it ever wants to beat this,the baby is going to need operation after operation first we need a kidney match then we need to give it open heart surgery and it's already not going to be strong because it's premature!" Sid sadly said!
"Omg! I can't belive this how do I tell Ruby" I cried! "There's so many questions I need to ask about this!"
I said!
"Feel free!" Sid added!
"If the baby survived all off this will it ever really be better? How long will this all take? Is there a chance Ruby won't meet her child! I need details" I shouted!
"No Charlie I need details" Ruby said!
"Ruby im so sorry I did not realize you were standing there" I said.
"It's fine,but please when something this serious concerning my child you come to me! Ok" Ruby said angrily!
"Ok I'm terribly sorry Ruby , I thought it would be best coming from your mum" Sid nervously added.
"Sorry I snapped I'm just scared Ahhh oh god the baby the pains are getting worse" Ruby screamed
"Ok back on the bed " Sid said as he carried Ruby back in!
"What's going on" casey and brax asked !
"Something happening" I said
"Well what!" Casey screamed!
"Oi case don't take it out on her" brax kindly said!
"Don't tell me what to do ok brax" casey said
"Mate I know your hurting but your really pushing it" brax said
"Sorry" casey added! "I'm just worried,I mean I love her"
"I know mate I know" brax said!
"Sid what's going on " I said as be walked out the room!
"We just got a little scared but everything ok" Sid said!
I felt so relived I rushed in to Ruby who was crying on the bed "hey rubes everything's fine,I love you"casey Said while holding her tightly!
2WEELS LATER
RUBY POV
"I was so glad I had been released from there it's horrible in hospitals" I gladly said to Charlie!
"I know right the smell" I laughed
"Hahahaha" Ruby laughed out loud!
"I love you mom" I nervously said to Charlie!
"Omg! You called me mom! I love you so much rubes"
CHARLIE POV
I was so happy rubes finally called me mum!
4 weeks later!
RUBY POV
I was now nearly 3 months pregnant and the pregnancy was going good I had the tiniest little bump and I had started to warm to the ideas of being a mother! Flash backs of that night keep coming back to me but ever since last week Iv slept full nights things started t look up for me! Brax and Charlie were back on track and happy and me case are getting on as well as we can!
"Hey Ruby,can we talk" case said nervously!
"Ye,what's up" I asked!
"Iv been thinking,and I hate to say this but I don't know if I can look at this baby when it's born and love it knowing what this man did to you,I love you so much Ruby I hate to think what this person has did to you,I swear he's so lucky he got away with this" case angrily shouted!
" CASEY stop ok I'm trying to put the rape behind me if all u can do is bring it up then what does that say about us! I felt like that over the baby first ok but it's not its fault! It's dad is the most horrible person created ok but your not and your going to be there it's going to be surrounded by people who loves it and will give a good example ok I'm finding out weather it's a boy or a girl next week and I want you there,but if you can't except this then go and don't come back!" I said as I moved my hand from his!
"I understand what you mean ok if it's anything like you then I could learn to love it" case said while placing his hand back on mine!
"Thank you I love you" I said while leaning in to kiss him!
We both heard laughing coming from the kitchen !
"Who's there!" I said
"It's only us rubes" brax and Charlie said!
"Sorry bit on edge" I explained!!
"It's ok rubes" Charlie's calmly said!
CHARLIE POV
It was the day Ruby was going for her ultrasound to find out what sex the baby was we all really nervous and I couldn't help but want this pregnancy to be over I felt bad for thinking it I just wanted the drama gone and Ruby to have a healthy safe baby she could love! "Are u ready Charles,were only waiting on you" Ruby shouted!
"Ye sorry coming" I said!
We all nervously got in the car , it was a awkward silence most of the way Ruby was so tired this pregnancy was killing her appetite her sleep and eventually it will kill her and this is killing me!
We finally got to the hospital and headed it!
"I have a ultrasound with Sid walker" Ruby said at the desk!
"Ye he's on his way"
"Thank you" said Ruby!
"Ruby hi do you and casey? I'm guessing wanna come through,the rooms a bit small so it will be best if one comes in" Sid said!
"Ye ok" Ruby said looking at casey.
as they headed in brax went and got us coffee while we nervously waited.
RUBY POV
" just lie back and pull your shirt up,the jell will be cold but only for A second" Sid kindly Said to me!
I pulled my shirt up and shivered as the cold Jel was rubbed on my belly me and casey watched the screen closely
"There it is" Sid said! "Do you want to know the sex now or wait" Sid asked.
"NOW,sorry I just need to know" I laughed!
"Looks like you have a little girl" Sid said!
"Omg! Thank you so much I can't wait" I cried with happiness!
"I think I'm already starting to love her" casey laughed as he leaned in to kiss me!
"Wait a minute" Sid said nervously!
"What's up,what's going on" I asked angrily!
"I can't find the heartbeat but don't worry they can be hard to find sometimes" Sid said trying to make me feel better !
"You never had no trouble finding it last time" I stated!
Sid never answered me just kept trying for about 15 minutes!
"Iv lost my little girl haven't I" I said trying not to cry!
"I'm so sorry Ruby but she passed away the illness got to much but she a fighter Nearly four months this little strong one was,I'm so sorry" Sid said sadly!
I couldn't bring words out just tests I collapsed in casey arms and cried aloud casey began to cry as well!
"Ruby what's going on" Charlie asked!
"She she she" I couldn't talk !
"Your having a baby girl that's amazing why are you upset" Charlie asked trying to understand!
"Charlie Ruby's baby girl died" casey said!
