Days went by and Jessica and Rushil started getting very close. They would save seats for each other everyday at college, hangout together in canteen or somewhere after class and even bunk lectures at times. Jessica's girlfriends were furious at her. They were worried for her due to Rushil's dirty reputation and few examples of his nonsense sitting right in front of them. They knew how girls were hurt by him. But telling all this to Jess, as everyone fondly called her, made no sense. It had no effect on her. She was madly driven by him.
It was a rainy day and everyone was leaving out of college. As it had become a daily routine of Jessica to leave with Rushil, she rushed towards him. Luckily, they were fitted in tight in his umbrella. The rain got heavier and they realized the sharing of umbrella wasn't helping them stay dry. There was a shelter with a tea stall nearby. They decided to stay there till the rain subsided. As they sat on a seat, really small, both of them were held quite close. Things were getting heated up between them. Looking in the eyes, Rushil turned a lock of wet hair stuck on Jessica's left cheek at the back of her ear. Nervous, Jess was unable to make an eye contact with him. Slowly he leaned forward, following her lips. Her lips met his and both of them were savouring the delicious moment very lovingly. As they parted, Rushil took her hand in his. Kissed it and gave away the 'three magical words'.
Jess was on the top of the world. Her dream came true. And now she couldn't resist the urge to shout out to the world that she loved him way too much but instead she was just able to whisper in his ears. As on cue, he took her in his arms and they were lost in deep romance.
