Vedika called her. Asking if Rushil had replied. She decided to keep mum about everything that had happened. The reason for it unknown even to her. After hanging up with Vedika she tried sleeping but thoughts clouded her mind. Vedika had been strange on the phone. She seemed tensed about something and din't even ask her anything else except Rushil. That was odd. Vedika normally never liked him or even talked about him. With a motive to find out the truth she called Vedika for a sleepover that night. After a long time when Vedika started dozing off, she decided to check her cellphone for some clue.
A guilt feeling passed through her as she was scanning through her best-friend's phone. Doubting on her did not seem right but she had no idea what else she should do. She came across something in her phone that was going to change her future forever.
It was a video of Vedika and Rushil!! Yes. A sex-video! Her own best friend. She couldn't believe it. The next, she was reading a chat of theirs. Vedika persuading him to delete the video and to not tell her about it. On the other hand, Rushil was adamant that he loved Jess and could not bear to lie to her anymore. Jess didn't understand whether to feel happy or hurt for what Rushil said or what her best friend did. The part that Rushil loved her proved to be true after this.
Maybe the cancer part is also true...
She was confused.
