*Liam's POV*

I think it was the full moon that was effecting me. I felt that this other wolf wanted to push me off, but I kept pinning him and he growled, snarled, and howled at me but I wouldn't let go.

I didn't have an intent on doing so, all I knew was that I didn't want to be alone anymore. At this point his legs were shifting, I could tell that if he got the leverage, he could clear me off him, quick and easy. I stood my ground his hind legs, pushing me off inch by inch. Soon, he got the best of me and pushed me off with a growl.

I snarled back, as I wasn't scared of him. He seemed to shiver, a little. Funny, that he'd even do so, he looked as if he'd seen a ghost. Here he was, trying to prove something, how tough he was, a simple snarl from me and he backed down and went back to his cave. Hmm I thought for a moment, he was a wolf just like me, he retreated, something I'd never do.

After all, I'm an all powerful wolf, so was he. Maybe he didn't know it, no of course he did. Well, I best be going, I retreated and took to my tree, I didn't have a cave to myself. While on a quick hunt for food, my pack leader, was killed, so I ran away and I carried on by myself. On my own, I got lots done, I hunted for my own food, I fought off other wolves, and best of all I looked for a mate on my own.

However, I didn't find one, I found that I wasn't interested in, well, female wolves. It was a strange thing. Maybe that's what kept drawing me to this wolf's cave. Maybe just maybe.I kept a close eye on his cave. I howled up at the sky and then fell into a slumber.
