Wolves:- Niam Horayne

Chapter 18

*Nialls POV*

I was sleeping, trying so hard not to open my eyes. I was hearing this noise Outside our cave, I felt a presence. It was not just Liam and I any more. There was another wolf. A female. My own mother.

I heard shuffling and a howl.. The howl from Liam. I quickly got to my feet, I was about ready to pounce. I watched as my own mother greeted Liam in a sexual manor. How disgusting it made me feel. How could my own mother do this to me?

I saw Liam pounce and push her away. I smiles proudly and cringed when her bones cracked. I became aggravated as she wouldn't give up even after such a defeat. I began to get paranoid and so I felt the need to pounce.

Once I realised she was giving birth I stood ready to pounce after she gave birth. Once she was up I pounce. She clawed and scratched me. I bit her and ruffled her up. After the fight my nose was covered in her blood.

I took one last look at her solemn face and decided to scratch her. She whimpered, looked into my eyes one last time and scampered away.

I heard shuffling from behind a bush... Being paranoid I decided to pounce but what I saw I fell in love... A pup...

It's scared little fluffy body was shivering and I soon felt bad for I had scared a baby. Perhaps, I could take care of it... oh, but Liam. What would he think?

I gently nuzzle at the pup to push it out of the bush. It slowly walks up to Liam...

Liam looks at it for a little and finally smiles. I get lost in its eyes well he continues to examine it.

I lift up my blood covered paw and gently nudge the pup. The pup howls in fear and I stand back and pout.

Liam slowly licks the pup and it soon climbs onto his head locking onto his nose he kept in the howl since it would scare it off. And that's something we both didn't want.

The pup crawled further on to Liams head and Liam walked deep into cave. I followed behind him and let my motherly instincts take over.

As he laid down the pup soon yawned and howled and took to sleeping. Liam looked at me and then smiled. I stared the pup down. It was amazingly adorable and fluffy and then I soon realize I've always wanted pups.

Knowing me and Liam can't have pups I wanted to adopt this pup and raise it as my own. Only hoping Liam would like the idea also. Laying down next to Liam I stare at the pup and smile... This could be it. I may just be a father.

I feel as if my dream has come true. The more I look at the pup I realized how much I've wanted this, only hoping Liam would like this idea I slowly get up and take to examining the pup.

Staring at the pup in awe I gather my courage to snuggle up into Liams side and nuzzle into his neck.

Liam's eye soon flicks open and I lick his cheek. He smiles and the pup slowly snores. I smile brighter than I ever have and think about what the future will bring.

I start thinking of names for the pup but we don't know the sex yet... Only time will tell...
