*Liam's POV*
I know Niall couldn't sleep for fear of what would happen to the pup if he did go to sleep. I felt bad and so I told him I would keep watch. And so I did, I sat up by the entrance of the cave and looked over the pup and Niall.
I smiled at the fact that I've always wanted to raise a pup, it's a great deal of responsibility but I love the idea of having something I can call mine. As soon as the pup woke up, it yawned out a howl and to my suprise, crawled to Niall's side and brushed against him gently.
I smiled at the sight of how beautiful this family would be. Hopefully Niall wants a pup as much as I do. Niall soon woke up and began to clean the pup and smile as the pup sat in content. I watched pleasantly until I heard a rustle outside our caves near the bushes.
I looked out to see another wolf. It's eyes glowing and teeth glistening. I knew what I would have to do. I gave Niall the cautious look and whispered into the shell of his ear that I'd be back. And with that I leapt of into the bushes and began biting the other wolf's neck harshly.
We rustled in the bushes for quite sometime but I knew I could handle the situation at last the other wolf gave up and hurried along, a bloody mess. I came back to cave after washing up and smiled at the slight of Niall's bright expression. "It's a girl", Niall said smiling as I settled in again.
