They may hold a big audience
to tell the world about your existence,
sing songs that make you fall to your feet
or just grow pink as you hold on to your seat.
They may give you flowers everyday
regularly ask you if you're okay,
give you anything even if you did not ask them to
all of these just to have your one and only 'I do'.
They do those, they do these
even compete with one another, fist by fist
out of love and admiration for you,
I wont do the same things though I feel that same way too.
I will just have my alone-time in the corner
have wudhu and perform my prayer,
as they hold on to the microphone and express their feelings for you
I would place my head on the ground and tell Allah about you.
As they strum their guitar and serenade you
I will be spending my time making dua'a for you,
I may not ask Allah to have you as mine immediately
but to write my fate with you as my destiny.
As they waste their allowance for every bouquet
I will save every peso as a dowry,
and I'll keep the verses of the Quran in my memory
slowly preparing for that very special day.
As they try catch your every attention
looking at you wont even be my option
first glance is best and then I'll have to lower my gaze
for if not, I would always be thinking about your pretty face.
They may take you out along with the gang
treat you in the most elite restaurant,
I wont, but I will go straight to your home
ask your parents to have you as my I own.
They may give you all the expensive jewelries
as signs that they will love you till your seventy,
Well, more than that I can give you
coz until in the Akhirah, I'll still be loving you.
They may have all the stars in the universe as witnesses for their love
but then for me, Allah is all I have
They may be courting you until you agree
while I'll only be starting after Nikaah but until eternity.
These are what I can do
but right now, I will do nothing for you
just wait and one day, I'll be knocking on your door
to ask you to be my queen until forevermore.
And that day onwards, you will be reading these verses
and I'll be making true these written promises,
in shaa Allah, these wont remain as mere flowery words
in shaa Allah, the two of us will be united in this world.
