"Don't get too close.", a sign; a warning.
People were talking about you.
They warned me.
They told me to watch out and keep a safe distance.Because boys like you play with fire and if I get too close I might get hurt and burned.
But I didn't listen.
I was young and carefree.
I didn't listen to what they said and allowed you to get closer.
I didn't keep my distance.
Like a moth, I got enticed by the pretty flame.
And that's how I got hurt.I was thankful that I didn't get fully burned but you made sure that I left with at least one scar.
