"Have you found anyone for the job yet Mr Dowell?" Ana asked putting a coffee down on Matthew's desk. Matthew was tapping his pen on his chin while he was reading documents infront of him.
"Not yet" he replied sighing.
"I hope you all the best sir." Ana smiled "is there anything you would like me to do?"
Matthew looked around his office "not today Ana, go home to your family" he smiled sweetly.
"Are you sure sir?" Ana cautioned.
"Of course, I'm planning of going out anyway" he took a sip from his coffee "go on, before I change my mind" Matthew joked. Ana nodded and scurried out the office through the grand oak double doors.
Matthew put all the documents away from his desk. He grabbed his coffee and left his office, going in to the sitting room. He sat himself down and took his phone out of his pocket.
Are you busy?
He texted the sweet girl he met in the diner just a week ago. The one who caused his shirt to end up in the drycleaners.
Matthew was relaxing on the sofa, resting his feet on the coffee table standing in front of him. His phone beeped to signal that he has a text message.
If you call laying in bed till 12
noon busy then sure.He smirked at the text he just received.
Would you like that coffee now?
I'll pick you up?He replied. He replayed the short moments he spent with the beautiful girl with the beautiful name.
"Evelyn" he said outloud to himself.
Sure :-)
I'll be more than happy
to make my own way?He wanted her now he thought to himself.
Great!
No,I'd like to pick you
up.As soon as he got told her home address, he left.

Evelyn combed her long brown hair and tied her bangs round the back if her head to make a half up-half down hairstyle.
There was a knock at the front door. Evelyn skipped down the stairs.
"Oooh, where are you off to missy?" Darcy questioned her with a raised eyebrow. Darcy had a basket of washing under her arm ready to iron.
"Only a coffee" she answered "I won't be long" she smiled.
"Oh yeah? Who with?" Darcy continued to question. Another knock wad heard from the door.
"I better go Darcy" Evelyn said as she opened the door. Matthew was stood there with a single flower freshly picked from Evelyn's front garden. He was wearing a clean white shirt with the sleeves rolled up with jeans and brown leather smart shoes-similar to what he was wearing when she, oh god. She was just embarrassed by thinking about it.
