I drove fast enough to tail behind Hardy's BMW, parking a few cars down and waiting for them to walk into the alley before making my move. The old storefront was easy to break into since I had heels to break the lock. It looked like hell, nothing like Danny and the boys kept it thanks to the wonderful White Knights. Bottles laid broken, tables were trashed and posters littered the floor but I still managed to make it to the back room where a door leading to the alley still was. You could clearly see Hayden with some of the Knights, Hardy and Danny.
"So, not one wedding invite from ether of you." Hayden started in his cocky voice. "That's not polite."
"I didn't want any trouble at my wedding, did you, Hardy?"
"Nope, just pure family fun."
"Got it. By the way, what a wife you got there, Hardy. Beautiful, smart, feisty, did I mention sexy?" He got closer which cause heat to radiate off Hardy. "Man, if I had her. The number of things I would do to her."
"Yeah, thanks for blowing up my house, West." Danny brought back his attention; he needed Hardy with a focused head. "The van was a nice touch."
"So you like my wedding gift! Actually, Maria thought of that; she's always had a flair for the dramatic. You know girls, always wanting something big."
"So why'd you call us here, Hayden?" Hardy finally spoke up. "This isn't really social call."
"Hmm, why did I call you here? Ellis, why did I call them?"
"Revenge, my man." Duncan called out.
"Right, revenge. The two if you have caused my family a hell of a lot of pain. Danny, your mom stole my mother's boyfriend."
"Ex-boyfriend." Danny interjected.
"Whatever." Hayden yelled. "And then she founds out her seamstress was screwing around with the very man that she loved and broke her heart? That's a low blow, Stewart. And you, Hale!" Hayden shot his finger to Hardy. "My 'best friend'. The man that was supposed to have my back forever marries the one girl that turns me down, the one girl I was getting my revenge on. Maybe I'll move on to the next beauty. Hey, Danny," West smiled devilishly. "How's your wife? Brenda's getting more beautiful every time I see it."
"You bastard." Danny growled and lunged at him but was stopped by a gunshot. At first I thought he stopped to see where the noise came from until I saw the shocked look on his face and the blood seeping through his shirt.
"Ending our little party before the fun starts?" The feminine voice of Maria West came out of the dark corner before she did with a gun in her hand. "That doesn't sound very much like you. Well, I guess the party stops here for you because of your mother and sister."
"No, ends for you because of me." I decked her right in the face, having the pleasure of seeing her fall on the floor. "Danny," Even on his skin color, you could see the paleness creeping in him due the all the lost blood.
"What the hell are you doing here?" He yelled with most of the energy he had.
"Saving your ass, of course." I smiled before bundling up my sweater and told him to hold it, the pressure would help stop the bleeding. "Sorry for you sister, West; she talks too much."
"She does," Hayden agreed and started walking towards me with a look that could only be described as lust. "But you, you Mrs. Hale, have the just the right attitude. Which is why I'm not going to kill your husband or your brother; I'm gonna kill all of you here." I didn't even notice Hardy as he zoomed in between me and Hayden, pushing him to the ground.
