Carnival

A/N      Ok, so this wasn't requested by anybody, I just kind of randomly came up with this myself so hope you enjoy:)

CHAPTER THREE : CARNIVAL

PERCY'S POV

Percy woke up to the sound of Annabeth pounding on my door at like 6 in the morning. He rolled out of bed, still half asleep, and slowly walked to the door.

"W- what are you doing?" Percy asked, squinting at the bright lantern she was holding.

"Can I come in?"

He gestured for her to come inside. Annabeth sat down on my bed as Percy turned the lamp on next to his bunk. "What are you doing here at 6 in the morning?" He asked, crossing his arms, waiting for a decent excuse.

"You forgot didn't you." She complained. To be honest, he had no clue what she was talking about.

"Ummm, your birthday?" He guessed, knowing he was wrong but it was worth the try.

"Really Percy? It's no where close to my birthday. Don't you remember? We're all going to the carnival today!" She was so excited I reached over and covered her mouth with my hand so she wouldn't wake up any other campers.

"Ohh! Wait. One question. Why are you still waking me up at 6?" Percy sat beside her.

"Because!! We have to get there early so there won't be any lines for the rides! Duh!" Annabeth jumped up and almost banged her head on the top bunk. "We better go wake up the others."

She grabbed Percy's hand and dragged him to Jason's cabin first. She made Percy gently  knock on the door and right after, Jason swung the door open. "You guys ready?"

He was already in today's clothes like Annabeth was and here Percy stood with his hair like a birds nest and still pajamas on. "Yep," Annabeth replied. "Why don't you and Jason go wake up Leo and Frank?"

While Percy and Jason went to wake their friends, Annabeth made sure that Hazel and Piper were up and ready to go. Percy kind of felt bad for forgetting about today's event but you couldn't blame him. He had to help more kids than usual at sword training that day and he falling asleep while doing it.

"Let me guess, you forgot about today and you're thinking about yesterday?" Jason said out of literally nowhere.

"Pretty much," Percy replied. He had a pounding headache that he hoped would go away before they left for the carnival and his hands and feet were sore from training.

"Don't worry," Jason said trying to cheer Percy up which wasn't really working. "Everything will be fine before we leave."

"Thanks, man. I really appreciate the help."

Eventually, we arrived at the Hephaestus cabin where Leo was standing outside. He had dark jeans and a light brown shirt which matched his crazy, greasy hair jut perfectly.

"Sup guys," he yelled running down the steps. "Whoa, Percy! What happened to you? You look like you fell through Tartarus again!?"

Honestly, Percy felt like he fell through Tartarus again which made him feel depressed.

"Don't remind me." He said. "I'm gonna go change and fix myself up. Why don't you guys go get Frank?" They both nodded and Percy ran off.

ANNABETH'S POV

"Piper, you look fine!" Annabeth exclaimed to her friend as she tried and tried to find the perfect outfit to wear to the carnival.

"Well, I have to find something that looks good!"

"Trust me," Annabeth started. "All of your clothes look good."

We spent about another 30 minutes in the Aphrodite cabin until finally Piper decided on what she was going to wear. She had picked out light skinny jeans with a pink, long sleeve shirt that had flowers on it. Piper then slipped on some sandals and we went to search for the boys.

Yay! There's gonna be a part 2 of course! Plz don't get mad at me because I keep on making them have 2 parts😬 Plz... And also sorry for the LONG wait:) I tend to do that sometimes but not every time.... Trust me.... Ok so hope you enjoyed!:)
