It never crossed my mind that Elijah could actually be fun. We watched about five movies already and we both managed to make fun of every single one. The movies they make about vampires these days only consist of shirtless pale guys or one's that sparkle.

By the sixth movie my eyes started to become heavy with sleep. I tried to not fall asleep so quickly but that's hard to do when you've had a long day of aclaimed vampire duties.

"Mackenzie do you want me to put you to bed?" I rolled my eyes. "Aren't you going to do it anyway?" he cocked his head as if to prove my point. At this point I was ready to pass out from exhaustion.

* * *

I was sure it was my bedroom that I woke up in but just to be sure I stood up and hastily looked around. To my surprise I was a bit disappointed that Elijah brought me back home instead of me sleeping at his for the night. I don't know why I felt this way especially since we barely knew each other and that kiss was the start of this whole mess anyway.

After I confirmed that no one was here I got out of bed, only to be hit with a sudden jolt of pain. I sniffed the air, and was surprised to smell the stench of burning flesh. Just to make sure I wasn't imagining things I stuck a finger out to the ray of sunlight that poured through my window.

As I had suspected the sharp pain came again but this time the pain seemed drain any courage I had left in me. Everything was repaved with a burning hatred for my brothers. I never thought that they could stoop this low but obviously I was wrong. But just to make sure I checked the necklace that was always around my neck. As I had expected earlier my daylight necklace was gone.

My daylight necklace was the only thing that I was able to use in order to be in sunlight. I could not leave the house without my daylight necklace. The sun was rising quickly and I had little time before the sun arose.

I vamp sped into a dark corner. I didn't leave the corner until I heard a slight creak from the front door. At first I thought I was just hearing things, but someone was ascending the stairs.

This was my last chance to get out of here. "Hello!!! Is anyone there?" "Mickey, is that you?" I notified the voice quickly. It was very familiar as I had heard it so many times during my childhood. "Stefan...I need some help" he was fully visible now, and he looked quite amused. I really didn't see anything funny about this situation.

"What happend to you. Why are you in that corner?" I rolled my eyes, I didn't know if he was just pretending to act like he didn't know anything, or if he truly had nothing to do with it.

"As you can see brother, my daylight necklace is gone. Someone took it from me in the middle of the night and I have been stuck in this corner for two hours afraid of getting burned to a crisp by the sun." He seemed taken aback. "Who would take your daylight necklace?" He asked.

"Stefan if I knew the I wouldn't be in this corner sulking. I would be getting revenge on the sucker who took my necklace from me." He sure was slow for someone who used to always tackle me down during tag when we were six years old.

"Are you gonna help me or not?" I asked the agitation clear in my voice. "Yeah, but I need Bonnie first, don't go anywhere I'll be back soon." I rolled my eyes "where could I possibly go Stefan?" But it was to late because he had clearly left already.

I just hope that someone will come and get me out of here soon, because I think I might just go insane.

Hello there I haven't updated in a while and this chapter clearly sucks but I cut the chapter in half so that chapter seven will be the other half of chapter six.
