I lost track of time, I really didn't know how long I was in this dammed dark corner, but I must've been a while because my throat started to burn. I knew if I didn't get out of here soon I would suffer the severe consequences of blood thirst.
Unfortunately I couldn't exactly say that I was an expert on controlling myself on the thirst. I wouldn't be surprised if a human came wandering around and I sucked it dry. That was the problem with the thirst, it always came back for more.
So when Stefan finally came back my skin looked an unpleasant shade of white, instead of the healthy tan I usually wore. "Hey you okay?" he asked. I was so mad I could spit, I could've arose with a surge of adrenaline and slapped him upside the head for leaving me here starving.
"Stefan did you bring blood?" I asked I was worried about my necklace but I was thirsty. He handed me a blood bag and I sucked it down quickly, that couldn't have been the only one he brought right? There had to be more.
As if he had read my mind, he handed me three more. "Always come prepared, don't you Stefan?" He shrugged it off. "Where is bonnie?" "Well that's the problem, I can't find her"
"What do you mean you can't find her, she is one witch" he rolled his eyes. "I checked everywhere Elena hasn't seen her either." Ugh, I forgot about the human. "So what do you propose we do?" I asked, like he actually knew the answer.
"Well first I think you should probably get more blood in your system, then you can help us look for Bonnie."
"Wait who is "us" you didn't honestly think of bringing Elena to go search with us did you?" He rolled his eyes again "I don't understand why you two can't get along well with each other will it kill you both to at least act civilized"
"Oh I know your not talking, and besides how can I act civilized to someone who has no class, I really don't know what you were thinking falling for the doppelganger, when you knew she would be exposed to dangers even you can't save her from. I'm sorry Stefan but to be honest I think she is just another burden to take care of."
I really didn't mean to be so harsh, but I was frustrated and tired. I knew I hit a soft spot so I gave him a reassuring hug. "I'm sorry Stefan I didn't mean it, I was angry and I shouldn't be taking my anger out on my sweet older brother who went to all this trouble to help me."
I could tell he was better already because he had the tiniest bit of a smile forming on his face. "You can go you know, it's dark out" "really" I asked eyes wide with anticipation. "Sure, well unless you want to stay here until we find Bonnie"
"No thanks I'm good" I said and sped quickly out of the dark room. Even though my legs ached from sitting down so long and I was surely going to walk with a slight hunch from now on I was still exited to be outside and moving.
I sniffed the air, I was sure I smelled the pungent flavor of fresh blood. Off of a human of course, I haven't eaten fresh from the vain in a long time, so I was exited that I could finally get the chance. I'm not the type to kill my victims, I usually just take a little to satisfy me, but not to take a life.
There he was, he was just about to turn the street corner, he had a tiny paper cut on his pointer finger of his right hand. I could tell he was a real big bookworm too, because he had thick framed reading glasses. I bet he got that same paper cut from cutting himself with a page of a book he was in a hurry to finish.
I liked to examine my victims before I drank them. This was not necessary but I deemed it useful once in a while. I vamp sped over to him, making sure to block his path way. "Can I help you?" He asked, I nodded my head "why yes, you see I'm very thirsty and I could use a drink, I noticed you had a paper cut, and I wondered of you could help me out" he looked puzzled.
"What does me having a paper cut have anything to do with you being thirsty?" "This-" and with that I bit into his neck, drinking my fill.
I made sure I let him go before he could get dizzy or unconscious. Then I used compulsion to send him on his way. I always go for clean kills, and I don't like repeatedly targeting them either, like some vampires would.
I decided I should just go help look for Bonnie so that we can get the whole necklace thing over with. I walked to the grill in search for Bonnie I knew that everyone went there nowadays, I could see why.
There was something about the place that made it feel comfortable. It wasn't very often I came across places that were necessarily welcoming, but I couldn't say the same for this place. It was warmly lit and had a decent amount of people. I could tell business wasn't slow here. There was a certain busyness to it. But I couldn't think about how this place would be perfect for me to just hang out at sometime, I had to find Bonnie and hopefully the person that stole my necklace.
Sup, I updated, finally... I've been trying to come up with new ideas for the story line but it's kind of hard because I'm not much of a planning person. I was wondering if any of you would like to help me out with the story line, you can comment your ideas, I might just take one and give you credit for it if I think it's cool. Until next time Deanna
